Friend told me about this place after talking about breakfast tacos last night. Been featured in Texas Monthly and on ESPN's GameDay.
Went early and there was already a line at drive through and a few people in line inside.
I ordered the barbacoa on recommendation, and the usual potato, bacon, and egg taco; carne guisada, bean, and cheese taco, and tried their chicarron and egg taco.
Barbacoa was very good. Not greasy at all, but very moist and flavorful. Even better when you added onion and cilantro. Was a little disappointed in their green sauce.
The chicharron was by far my favorite. Soft but still had a slight crunch. The salsa they used to cook them in was very good.
Wasn't a big fan of their tortillas or else this would have been a 4...
Read morePlease whoever is doing the cooking, turn down the salt! My Tacos, my rice and beans were so salty that I did not finish my food. Bring back your home made salsa you used to have and bring in some restaurant style chips because yours are to thick and greasy. The amount of money you are charging for the amount of food you are giving to your customers is to high. You even charge extra for a very small amount of chips that are so greasy and only give a tiny little dish of salsa with it. I went back to purchase food today purchased 6tacos asked for salsa was given 3red salsa an 3green salsa for 6tacos so i asked for 2extra red salsas was told its a .20cents charge no problem but the pregnant lady attitude was so horrible i changed my mind it’s one thing to have a ugly attitude outside of work but to work in a establishment dealing with customers an having a snobby attitude is another thing..
