My bestie and I stopped here for breakfast before a day of house hunting. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly! I love a good chicken and waffles, so had to give the chicken and biscuit French toast a try. You don’t even need to use the maple syrup! It is so good just as it comes! Don’t need to add anything to it. The berries biscuit French toast was also delicious. My bestie thought she needed a full size, but wasn’t able to finish it. A half size is large enough for one person. We got a side of bacon. It wasn’t thick cut, as advertised, but that wasn’t a big deal. Well ask them to cook it a bit longer so it’s crunchy next time. The fresh squeezed OJ is so good! How OJ should taste! We got the mimosa carafe with OJ, but it can be made with a few different juices to mix it up. Don’t leave without a 6 pack of biscuits and a side jam to take home for delicious eating after they’re closed! We loved this breakfast so much that we came back another day during our trip! I can’t wait to bring my family back when we move there and will recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious food at a local spot!!

OH EM GEE! I always knew about this place for years but never stopped by until recently after a doctor's appointment 🥰 I adore the lighting that's inside and the wood accents. It's so modern and homey to me. They have a big menu right on the wall as soon as you walk in. First things first: YOU HAVE TO GET THEIR FRESHLY-SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE, WOW. It's beyond delicious. They have happy hour every Wednesday: $4 MIMOSAS! We ordered the shrimp + grits, chicken + french toast, side of eggs, and side of black beans. The chicken/french toast plate was my absolutely favorite from this visit. They also have MONTHLY SPECIALS you can only get within that month. Definitely give them those a try. 🎉🎉 Seating is pretty open inside - there's full booths, half booths with half tables, and straight up tables. They also have a nice covered patio area outside too that can fit 4-6 people at each table. The two tables in front of the register accommodate bigger parties I believe! Fair warning: none of the tables have padding so you're sitting directly on wood :) not a big deal though!! Can't wait to go back 😄

When we first pulled into the parking lot there was a line out the door. We questioned whether we should wait and we are so glad that we decided to wait. The restaurant is different in many ways. At first you must order at the counter, something that I am not fond of. However, the line moved quickly and the menu board was ready to read. We found a table with care. Since this was our first experience we ordered a ton. We ordered the beignets which came out perfectly. Just like you would expect in New Orleans. We also ordered the bananas foster French toast. Oh my God fresh whipped cream, fresh bananas on top of a biscuit with a delicious brown sugar sauce. Get the half order more than enough. We also ordered the steel cut oatmeal with fruit. The berries were fresh, the oatmeal cooked to perfection. Nicely spiced. The last dish was the eccetera. Typical eggs, sausage, biscuit and cheese grits. Everything we got was tasty and the presentstion very nice. We are so happy we made this first visit. We sure will return. PS the food that we got looked like the pictures on line.

First timer! Let’s me start by saying this place comes up under “Black Owned” and is not. I’m assuming because the food is southern style is why it comes up which it shouldn’t be. BUT… The food and restaurant was very nice! Nice and clean ambience. Service was interesting. The young lady that took my order was nice but the young man that decided to whisper in her ear (as I was asking a question) and they both shared a laugh during made me very uncomfortable. It was not at all a comfortable feeling given i am new and have questions. It was inappropriate because naturally it made me feel as if they were joking about me in front of my face as I am trying to place an order. Now the food, The food was everything! I ordered the Huevos rancheros with stone ground grits on the side as well as the Banana foster French toast for the table to try. Omg everything was well made and fresh. We also ordered the lemon blueberry mimosa craft and as well good! Absolutely no complaints about to food. Would recommend and will be back! Thank you Stella’s Cafe!

We loved our anniversary breakfast at Stella's Cafe. We arrived at 7:15 am. Not too busy. We had a peaceful breakfast. By the time we were leaving, their regulars (retired folks) seemed to be filing in. Outside of the front door, there are instructions for waiting in line! There was no line on the morning we went (Wednesday). :) It would've been worth it, though. Blueberry waffles are not currently on the menu, but they had a mixed berry biscuit waffles option that was perfection. Shown in the photo is our half order of waffles (2 pieces). The shrimp and cheddar grits were tasty with plenty of their (imo "Cajun inspired") broth. Also shown is one of their January specials - a tender pot roast & carrots with grits and eggs (cooked to your choice. we opted for over medium.) Portions are generous. We stuffed ourselves and still took leftovers. On Wednesdays, their mimosas are half off! We shared the strawberry basil mimosa. A++ Pecan coffee was great, not too strong. Customer service was truly wonderful.

Ordered the SEC sandwich, which is basically a sausage-egg-cheese biscuit. It comes with “fries” which are not at all fries—instead you get a pile of soggy, unseasoned cubes of potatoes that are 30 seconds away from being burnt. The sandwich came out IMMEDIATELY after I ordered it. It was cold—I mean the eggs were literally cold to the touch. The sausage was lukewarm at best. I had to ask for another one sadly. I truly hate being “that person”, but I am just wary of cold eggs and meat. The service was good and everyone is very nice, but it seems that nothing is really made to order. My parents had the pot pie and that too came out immediately and it was barely warm. I suspect that most of the food just sits in the kind of foil pans you’d find at a church potluck. Even Denny’s cooks their eggs to order… If you’re looking for a good biscuit sandwich and real fries, I’d skip this place and go down the street to Whataburger. 😉
