A busy, well liked restaurant for most…

My husband and I frequently go to the Washington location of Napoli, but decided to try the one in Bridgeville for a change.

People seemed to like it as it is very crowded. There is a small dining area, a room that resembles a sports bar with tables and then a room off to the side that must be for larger types of parties.

We were seated in the dining section of the bar area. Personally, I think that this restaurant is a mishmash of things. When you walk in, you have what looks like Italian art above the host stand. That gave us a little bit of an indication that maybe it was going to be similar to the Washington location. Then we were seated and it felt like we were at a sports bar and grill, which really did not give the vibe that we wanted. The server wiped off our table and left it extremely wet. It very loud. The servers were more busy with what was going on in the bar area than to tend to our table as much as we would’ve hoped. Even getting a refill on drinks seemed to be a chore.

The food was good, I will say that. I didn’t have any complaints on the food. Napoli is known for having good food and I think at either location, they do their job. I just wish that the atmosphere was more of one type of restaurant instead of a few, and the servers were more around.

Again, the food is still very good no matter which one you go to. Personally, I think I will stick with the Washington location where it gives a more cozy and homelike feel and the servers treat you like family.

Delivery, takeout, and dine in available for lunch, dinner and dessert. Accepts reservations. Credit and debit cards accepted.

Bar on premises.

Catering available.

Alcohol Beer Cocktails Coffee Comfort food Food Happy hour drinks Happy hour food Hard liquor Late-night food Quick bite Small plates Vegetarian options Wine

Good for kids with high chairs and kid menus. There’s also an infant changing station in the bathroom.

Free parking lot on the premises. Always plenty of parking.

*Wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot, seating,...

We used to go to Napoli all the time but our recent experiences there had been very disappointing.

A couple weeks ago, my husband and I went there for dinner. We were sat in the extension room to the right. Service was very slow and took a long time for our food to arrive. When it did, my husband’s calzone was very shiny with grease while my Pizza was burnt. As we were about to eat our first bite, our server came and asked if we wanted some boxes. I told her politely “we have not even touched our food yet”. She scurried away and we did not see her again until we flagged her for the check.

Had dinner there last night with my friend and ordered Cajun Alfredo. I was served the creamy Alfredo. Our server noticed it right away and took it back to the kitchen. Moments later, she came back with the same white creamy pasta. I thought maybe the sauce was just underneath but after mixing it and taking a few bites, I told our server that my pasta did not taste anything like Cajun Alfred nor did it even resemble what a Cajun Alfredo pasta should look like. I told her I had it there a few times in the past so I know that wasn’t it. She answered “maybe because they just sprinkled it in there”. Hmmm… not really the answer I was hoping for but she did offer to bring me some Cajun seasoning on the side. I tried to mix as much Cajun as I could in my pasta (see pic) but it’s not the same as when the seasoning was mixed into the sauce before it’s poured over the pasta. I gave up trying to fix it and boxed my food. I was also charged the $3.49 for the Cajun Alfredo sauce that I didn’t have. I understand there’s a charge for the sauce but I didn’t ordered the creamy Alfredo sauce, did I? And oh, since it was getting close to closing time, the staff started sweeping the floor, cleaning up and moving chairs/tables around us. I wish they’d be considerate enough to clean without making as much noise and distraction knowing that there were still diners around.

Needless to say, It was a very disappointing dinner experience but I’m just glad I got to catch up...

We went here to celebrate 3 birthdays 8 days ago. There were 13 of us. After eating at the original Napolis back in the day on 51 we thought maybe it would be similar to the original but we were definitely wrong. We all ordered apps to start . The zucchini was incredible. The bruschetta was nothing like bruschetta. The menu says not your original but thought I’d give it a try. Did not like at all. It was like soup. Everybody single one of us ordered an entree. Every single one of us was disappointed. The chicken Romano tasted like a soggy breaded chicken cutlet. No flavor. The chicken blurre blanc was a white lemon cream sauce with spinach on top of chicken Romano on top of red skin mashed. The sauce tasted like cream nothing else. I didn’t even eat it. The stuffed shells came with 4 tiny sized shells with sauce on top. The wedding soup had no flavor. My daughter whose birthday it was got shrimp Alfredo and it was like eating a thick cream sauce with no garlic. And they charged $1.50 per shrimp to be added. They weren’t even medium sized. The chicken parmigiana had no flavor either. After talking to my family who go all the time about our experiences, they said call them because that’s not how their food normally is. Well after a week i finally decided to call just to tell them our experience. The manager said oh that was sooo long ago I can’t do anything about it and I can’t pay you back for your entire bill but I can give you a $20 credit for next time you come in. No “im sorry you didn’t enjoy your meal” How can we make it better? Very disappointing. I’m a waitress at a wonderful very well known establishment where the owner and managers would do anything to have you guys come back and be satisfied and to make it right. I will never be returning and will be telling all of my customers about my experience before letting them waste a good bit of money. Very overpriced...

How disappointing. We loved Napoli at their old location for the food. For the past few years, we've been going to their outlet in Washington and have been very happy there. This time, we were able to visit this new location and were looking forward to it. The building is nice and clean. It's laid out somewhat oddly with a smallish dining area and a big bar plus another large room that appears to be reserved for big parties. Since there were six of us, we were seated in the dining room. The meal started out good with a nice appetizer of the fried zucchini planks. They were lightly coated and not greasy and the supplied marinara was tasty. It surprised us that the side salads came to our table before the appetizer, but we chalked that up to a mistake on the server's part. The salads were nothing special. Unfortunately, the entrees were uniformly disappointing. The cod was crusted in Corn meal. While this made it crunchy, the lemon sauce was absorbed completely into the rice and so it was like eating two separate items that happened to be on one plate. The bigger disappointment was the chicken marsala. There was some sort of sauce on the pasta, but we could detect only the faintest hint of marsala flavor in this very soupy broth. The chicken and the mushrooms were just cooked, but apparently separately since they did not absorb any flavor at all. Prices are reasonable, but our expectations are for much better quality meals. The service was really nice and the waitress was great. It's a shame that her skills were kind of wasted on the food we received.
