Warhammer — Local services in Collier Township

I’m probably a unique reviewer here in that I do not, nor have I ever, been a warhammer player. Tonight, however, in a convoluted twist of parenting fate, I found myself trying to explain to my three year old what warhammer was after reading the store name aloud in our car. I have a very basic understanding of the game from my youth, which my son found wholly insufficient as an explanation of what a word as cool as “warhammer” could possibly mean. He needed to go into the store and see it for himself.

After much cajoling, I agreed to pop in quickly so he could see what all this warhammer business was about. I expected to silently stroll through the store until he realized that no hammers were involved, and then return to the car. Instead, an excellent employee (owner?) named Noah patiently explained the game to a now-shy toddler, in terms that he could understand. He even gave my son a few small pieces, which now appear to be his most treasured possessions on this earth. He has said the words “warhammer” and “space marine” approximately 15,000 times in the last 3 hours.

I am not one to leave reviews typically, but I respect establishments that clearly value the service and product they provide and hire good people. This is undoubtedly one of those places. I would not hesitate to patronize this store, regardless of your familiarity with warhammer, if you have any reason to do so. If you do, expect a patient and welcoming staff eager to share their...

Quite possibly the best experience I've ever had in a retail store. The two gentlemen took the time to get to know me and my family, and help us gain more knowledge about the hobby. Noah was AMAZING and took the time to teach us how to paint our miniatures. He walked both my two boys (12 and 9), my wife, and myself how to create table ready miniatures in a short period of time. Will definitely be back they had a great deal of models, and knowledge about all of the products. The items we wanted they did not have in stock but they were able to accommodate and have it shipped directly from Gamesworkshop to my house through an electronic purchase. Noah is absolutely amazing. He was so so helpful for my boyfriend and I. My boyfriend painted years ago and wanted to get back into it and I was tagging along for fun. But I ended up leaving so excited and with a nice set of paints and figures to dive in with. Not only did Noah kindly and gracefully take care of everyone in the store but he did so while helping me create and build a color palate. He is so knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge. The store is inviting and has a light and fun atmosphere.
