My child found a metal snap pressed into her bun. I called up to speak to a manager who was unapologetic and gave childish answers such as “none of our cooks wear jackets” She only offered to have the burger remade, no refund. Basically, a response more appropriate for someone’s order who had been messed up. Not a metal snap with plastic melted into it found in a child’s burger. When I returned to the store, she had left - knowing I was on my way. Truthfully, this made me more upset than the original situation. The new MOD (Emily) who brought my burger was very nice and apologetic- offered additional food, etc. Took the snap to investigate but at this point I didn’t feel like it was necessary for me to keep being mad when she was doing her best in a situation she was not fully aware of.
Update- Made a mistake and came back. My child wanted an M&M blast as a reward. Pulled into a stall, pushed the button, and waited…10 mins and one of the employee’s boyfriends pull up. He gets serviced immediately, then proceeds to yell curse words so loud my child could hear him through the window…I thought maybe my stall was broken so I moved. Waited another 15 minutes. Again, car pulls up next to me, orders and gets food while i’m still waiting to speak with someone. I decide to call the store directly. Sweet girl comes out to take my order—- and I’m waiting….45 minutes in just for a small bit...
Read moreSo, every Sonic I've been to in the last few months (three of them) has been packed, I'm sure due to people being afraid of going into a restaurant right now. This one was no different. We circled the parking lot twice before finding an open spot.
Still, the service was fast (12 minutes from order until food arrived), which was better than I expected with the crowd they were serving. Everything was correct, the food was hot and the drinks were cold.
Only four stars because the young lady who took our order had a malfunctioning headset. We waited almost five minutes after we pushed the button (this location has the cool screens that tell you "Button pushed, we'll be right with you.") It was a long enough wait that we had to push the button again.
While we waited, the car next to us left and another immediately pulled in. Within 15 seconds, we heard a voice welcoming them to Sonic, and we're still waiting to order!
Turns out, the young lady trying to take our order had a malfunctioning headset. She eventually walked out to our car and took the order in person! She was very polite, and apologetic, and indicated that she had been having problems with it "for a while."
So, other than this flaw, which really annoyed me at the time, everything else was good. Fix that headset, and it's five...
Read moreService was absolutely terrible. I ordered 3 drinks. A small water with no ice for my dog, a large lemonade light ice for me, and a route 44 ocean water for my husband. The lady read my order back correctly and it was on the screen correct. So, when the drinks arrived and they were wrong sizes and the water had ice (my dog won't drink it with ice), I was annoyed. I paged them again since I didn't notice until the girl who brought them to us walked away. The lady then tells me I'm wrong and that I ordered all mediums. I tell her that there is no way thats correct when the screen had shown otherwise. My husband didn't want to argue, so he pulled out and left. The lady was very rude about the order and didn't want to fix it or even apologize for any mess up. I'm normally chill about everything, even when orders get messed up. But her attitude and tone pushed me. I will never go back to...
