This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. I was assaulted by an employee.
I went through the drive-thru with my kids and placed my order as usual. At the window, I politely asked for ketchup and tartar sauce. The young man at the window handed me the ketchup and said he’d grab the tartar. Less than 20 seconds later, another employee came to the window yelling and cursing at me, saying I was holding up the line. She was completely unprofessional and aggressive.
After the owner and manager removed her from the window, I asked for a refund and said she needed to be fired. Shockingly, she came back and threw her headset at me—hitting me in the head and my son in the arm. I was physically assaulted in front of my children. I called the police and pressed charges. I was told the employee’s name is Vanisha.
Since then, I’ve been suffering from headaches, and my anxiety has been high. My daughter was so upset she couldn’t even eat. I also asked for the corporate phone number but wasn’t given it, so I’ll have to research it myself. The lack of accountability is extremely disappointing.
I will NEVER return to this location, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else risk their...
Read moreThe girl who took my order had been there long enough that the letters were wearing off her name badge, but asked me the same questions, several times. I stated from the start that I only wanted the sandwich, but she asked me twice if I wanted the meal. This shows that she was not listening. To make matters worse, she did not listen to my order, at all. She got my sandwich wrong. She did not listen, at all, and was apparently incompetent at her job. It was an unpleasant experience. I got the message loud and clear that Culver's does not care about or listen to their customers.
The lady who brought the food to my table was fine. (Really, it'd be hard to screw that up.)
The food was unapealing. The bun tasted very flour-y, but was at least fresh. I decided to eat just the cheese patty, but I was unable to stomach the patty. The patty looked as if was from days ago. Adding a lot of grease and re-warming half-cooked meat does not result in edible food. I ate the cheese, onion, and pickles, and threw out the rest. Ultimately, I'm still hungry, but will have to go elsewhere, because I found the food at this Culver's to...
Read moreI asked for a flat lid on 1 of my smoothies because I like freezing some to get me through the winter. With them being seasonal. I know them, I have gotten lots of them and bragged and recommended them the last few years. I asked for 2 large smoothies and 1 lg shake. When I got to the window I asked if one could have a flat lid, the girl making them said "they all get flat lids". Well no they don't, but okay I'll take it. Go to hand them to me, these are not large. Window girl (that was not the problem) asked girl fixing it. Her name is Skylar. She said Skylar are these large? She said yes they are. Window girl said maybe they changed the cups. OMG, I said No they are not, but I'm taking them. The flavor was good. That's why she didn't get a 1 star. Mike the Mgr would have helped me but I didn't have time to see if he was there. Guess I'm going to the Edwardsville Culvers next time. See if they know what...
