Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Collinsville

Holy schnikes, this coffee spot is GOOD!!!!

My hubby and I don't usually buy coffee on the road. We find other coffee places too bitter in taste, and heavy on the chicory (burnt-tasting). Why spend so much money on bad coffee? (I'm looking at you, green mermaid!)

Decided to check out this NEW place, Scooter's, before embarking on our drive back to Chicago from Fairview Heights, and oh, boy, we are going to have to make this a regular stop.

We purchased a small plain coffee, which was super smooth. A++++ for taste and temperature. We also ordered a Carmelicious blended ice drink, per their recommendation, and Oh-Em-Gee, I'm already HOOKED.... and I don't even like caramel! This Carmelicious drink is more like a gently sweet, mild mocha, evenly blended in ice, seriously hitting the spot on this humid Summer afternoon.

Oh, and the service at this place? Excellent. Super friendly, super fast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

(..... and now I'm looking just like the cute smiley-face sticker they put on the lid of my drink!)...

I absolutely will never I mean never go to this scooters or any other ever ever again how hard is it to not add expresso to a hot carmelious and just add drip coffee not hard at all you have done it several times and then be told they never add drip coffee to the carmelious omg then we got a hot mocha and it tasted like you dumped hersheys canned powdered mix gross over priced milk seriously no thanks I will just make my own terrible shame on this...
