After a day at the beach we were looking for a place to eat and I was surprised to find a Peruvian restaurant just a block away from the beach. As someone from Peru I’m very particular about Peruvian cuisine but I was not disappointed by Margarita’s. We were greeted by our server who was very nice and accommodating to our group. If a Peruvian restaurant can make a good green spicy sauce then there’s good chance the food will be flavorful and this restaurant definitely nailed it. I definitely recommend the Lomo saltado mixto (chicken and steak stir fry) and arroz chaufa (Peruvian fried rice). The plates were loaded with meat and the food was very flavorful, I just wish I took more pictures before we finished most of it haha. My only complaint is that the ambiance was a bit lacking, a little bit of music and decorations would be nice, but I understand as this is a new restaurant.

I visited this Margaritas restaurant and had a pleasant experience. I was so happy to see a Peruvian restaurant by the beach—it reminded me of the seafood restaurants I’ve tried in Lima, Peru. The service was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I ordered the chupe de camaron (shrimp soup), which was absolutely delicious—perfect for the cold January weather. I also took a half chicken for my friends to try, and the seasoning was flavorful (I couldn’t resist eating the fries before snapping a photo!). If you like spicy sauce, try the green sauce! The flan was delicious as well. Everything I tried had an authentic flavor. Hopefully they'll add some Peruvian decor to share the culture. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in town with my family. I highly recommend checking out this place, especially if you haven't tried Peruvian food. :)

Love that this is right off the beach. Initially we thought it was mexican but it is Peruvian which was nice. We walked in and were a bit hesitant since the first thing that grabs your attention is that the building smells a bit old. Don’t let that deter you. We stayed and ordered Peruvian chicken and yucca. Yucca was perfectly cooked and the chicken was too though I would have liked a bit more flavor. My friend got chicken tacos which she liked and we ordered a cheese quesadilla for the kids that was very good. Service was good and overall the place looked clean. Prices were good as well.
