I just recently tried this place for the first time, after my uncle told me he goes here like at least once a week for breakfast but usually a couple times a week.. so I tried their Korean Tacos, and the first time I got them, they were probably one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! The Bun Bao was warm and soft, the meat was hot and the flavor was amazing, their sprouts and vegeatable were crunchy and flavorful.. and then their sauce they give you for it is so freaking good! I told my dad it was one of the best meals ever.. So I JUST went there again and just finished my meal, I got the Korean tacos again, but this time is was really disappointed.. I’m somebody who gets butthurt even paying like $3 for a Mexican tacos again, but these are different.. however the total comes to like $17, maybe $18-$20 with tip. so it’s not cheap but if it was like the first time, it’d be worth it.. but this time, the bun bao was cold and not as soft and was stuck to the paper they put it on top of.. the meat was like warm.. the sprouts were kind of slimy or wet.. the sauce was still good.. but then I also got two chunks of the burnt like scrapings off the grill.. so I took a bite and felt a crunch and then my mouth was filled with that nasty the burn to a crisp taste that I couldn’t wash out.. and when I finally got the taste out, it happened again! It’s a cool looking place, I’m sure maybe other food is good.. I just tend to not go back to restaurants that are that inconsistent.. maybe it was just a bad day.. it was like 6:00pm on a Saturday and they were packed, so it’s weird to me they’d have cold food unless that’s how they made it.. I placed my order as I was in the car 7 minutes from the restaurant, they told me it’d take 15 minutes, I showed up as they were bringing the food up to the counter so it would’ve been just prepared. I might one day try them for breakfast or something.. but it’ll be a while before I ever do a dinner, that burnt charcoal bits of grill scraping really was disgusting. I also tried to find an email where I could let them know before I wrote a review, but there is none.. maybe if I try it again I’d update it and reflect that. I just don’t know if I’ll be able to talk myself I to spending $20 for a meal when there’s so many others where I haven’t had this experience and I’d pay like $10. So idk, maybe you’ll have the best meal you’ve ever had, maybe you’ll get the scrapings from the grill instead of meat. You pick if it’s worth it to you lol. It’s a bummer because I really wanted to find a place to get good Asian food right by my house, so this looked like The One.. but maybe I’ll find another place nearby It’s pretty hard to tell the difference, the first picture is from the first time I ate there, even in pictures it looks more colorful lol.. and the second picture is from my order I just ate like 30...

If I could give zero stars, I would. We picked this place based off the reviews and photos we saw. I’m not entirely sure what people experienced. The only thing that might have been accurate was the wait time. We got there, they said 30 mins and it was about that amount of wait for us to get seated. For a Friday night the wait time wasn’t too bad. It went down hill from there…

Once we got seated, we got our drinks, got our orders. Cool. But here is where it just got terrible. There were multiple groups who got seated after us and they got their food first. We got our appetizer at a somewhat timely manner. But y’all…the calamari was literally like cheese sticks/mozzarella sticks. We literally had to ask one of the waitress where our food was. They had no idea. They kept giving us sorry excuses, and they legit forgot about our food. They don’t really check up on you too. We sat there for awhile with no waitress to ask us how we were or even realize we still haven’t gotten our food. We legit got our food about an HOUR later. Our food was cold. And they even gave us the wrong meat choice to our two orders out of three. They insisted they gave us the right one, but I looked at their instagram posts with the same food with the exact same food we got (one thing is that their food looks like the pictures at least) and it was literally the wrong meat. Who gets a ramen and the temperature of the soup being luke warm?? The food didn’t even taste good. Heavy hand on salt on the appetizer.

All they did was say sorry multiple times, lots of excuses. Terrible,...

Absolutely loved this place. Decided to go for dinner after work which ended up in disappointment and tears. My husband and I arrived and was greeted by the hostess. We were told we could sit at the table located against the window in the corner. My husband asked the same hostess if we could sit at another table along the wall, she twisted her face and said yeah, the sad part is that she rolled her eyes once she turned around. Upon sitting we weren’t acknowledged for awhile, not even a simple I’ll be right with you. Once the waitress stopped to assist us I asked for a moment. By this point I’m just taking in the energy and service we have received. We waited for the waitress to come back after what seemed to be 10 mins, I told my husband let’s just go. I walked out of the restaurant holding the door for him when I realized he wasn’t behind me. He was stopped by an older lady who was dining with 2 others she grabbed him by the arm and asked him “did they not help you?” Which is so super embarrassing because as a person of color you never want to resort to race being the case but how is it that a someone at completely different table notice what was going on? I could do nothing more than leave crying. I have been to this establishment multiple times but with friends of other races and have never received such poor treatment. We did call and ask to speak with a manager which I’m sure never went anywhere. Customer service is everything, all patrons should be treated with the same level of decency...

The menu is “Nuevo Korean” or pan Asian or Asian fusion. Regardless of what label you put on it, it well very well thought out and well executed. Our group, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, enjoyed everything we ordered. The drink menu was definitely unique - we got the Matcha-cha and the second was a rum / lychee / coconut something that was frothy and delicious. Both were very unique and worth every penny of the $10. We ordered the Shrimp cakes for an appetizer and even the teenagers loved them - soft and creamy on the inside, perfectly fried on the outside, served on a bed of arugula with a mango-chutney like side. We had a burger (amazing house fries), the butternut squash ravioli (a little bland), the short ribs (so good my son stole them from me in trade for the ravioli), and my husband go the cold thai noodle bowl. We all shared and all liked each dish. For desert, we went for the “dark side of the moon” - I am a snob and do not like “lava cakes” but this one was not your usual pre-made, frozen deal that they baked. It was ganache, in a small ramekin, and was DELICIOUS - the sea salt caramel ice cream was the prefect accompaniment. It was prefect being shared among 4 people. Oh, try their ginger beer - delicious! The service was attentive w/o being pushy and the ambiance was wonderful - definitely want to come back in the summer when the front windows roll up to make it an open air restaurant. In the end, we would come back and that is enough said.

This place is small and gets packed. So at my own risk of being crowded out from one of my faves, here goes... The happy hour here is excellent! They have happy hour food which includes kimchi fried rice. Yes, that's right! It is so good and is made with thick pork belly. They only serve it during the early evening happy hour and at no other time. We also get the chicken (forgot the name) but it's on the happy hour menu. You will love it. The sauce for the chicken, mix some of it in with the slaw for a wonderful sweet slaw. We have also tried the yummy French fries with the amazing dipping sauce. The brews and cocktails are also delish. The bartender is very talented and fun to watch. Ask for their special brew of the month. They have a late night happy hour and also weekend happy hours. I think those don't come with happy hour food though. But the regular menu is also brilliant. The chefs are talented and make a beautiful display with each dish. We had the salmon on noodles and it was so good! They always make nice touches like the grilled half lime on many of their dishes. Oh my gosh, it's so tasty. I could keep going on about this place. Oh, but parking is a bit hard to find. Be careful not to park at other businesses' spots. If you're lucky, you can find a spot on the street out front. Otherwise you'll need to park a block away down another street west of the restaurant.
