I'm a Cuban from Miami so no one is going to BS me. I must say the food is excellent. There's no table service. You order at a window and when your food is ready you can sit in a room and eat out of a Styrofoam container. Lady at the counter was pretty rude. I almost fell down when she told me is was $22 for the ropa vieja. Any Cuban restaurant in Miami it's $10 for lunch and $12 off the regular menu and you get service with a basket of bread and water. I'll wait till I visit Miami for Cuban food.

Absolutely delicious! We had the Cuban sandwich, lechon sandwich, tostones, and sweet plantains. Very generous portions, juicy, fresh, and flavorful sandwiches, and very tasty plantains and tostones. Sweet plantains were perfectly prepared and not greasy at all. Tostones were savory and crisp. Exactly what you want in a tostone. Highly recommend! Don’t forget to try the guava juice and pastelitos! One of our new favorites in town. We will definitely be back.

Great food. Business needs a better location. Food: excellent, authentically Cuban. I only had a chance to try the Cuban bowl. It was excellent. Pastry counter looks amazing. Service: excellent, very friendly. Atmosphere: very small, mostly a take out business. There are 2 or 3 small tables to sit at. Location: very car dependent/non-pedestrian location. Only a few parking spaces available.

Cubaneate is a hidden gem serving up some of the most delicious and authentic Cuban food you’ll find outside of Miami. The flavors are bold, the portions are generous, and the prices are incredibly fair. I had cafe Cubano, pork ribs, pan con bistec, jugo de mango, and pastelitos. All were absolutely fantastic. I’m not a coffee drinker, but the cafe cubano captured all the best parts of the perfect cup. The pork ribs were tender and packed with rich, smoky flavor, while the pan con bistec had the perfect balance of crispy bread, juicy steak, and savory toppings. The jugo de mango was naturally sweet and refreshing, and the pastelitos were the perfect flaky, sweet finish to an incredible meal.

Beyond the amazing food, the service was excellent, humble, welcoming, and truly appreciative of their customers. The dining area was spotless and comfortable, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in Colorado Springs and craving a quick, home-cooked meal that transports you straight to Havana, Cubaneate is the place to go. I’ve had Cuban food in Miami, and this spot absolutely holds its own....

Several of my coworkers and I just got some to go orders from here. First, the lady that answered the phone was so nice. I tried several things that I’ve never had before and I must say - WOW! I will definitely be back. The yuca fries were DELICIOUS, even without the fabulous sauce they give you to dip them in. The plantain chips I think are a new fave for me. Everything was just wonderful. We got a bunch of different things and I wouldn’t have a single one to complain about. We will definitely be ordering...

New Cuban restaurant and bakery based out of the “Lucy, I’m Home” Cuban Restaurant location. Never got to try “Lucy, I’m Home” but menu looks and feels updated. Counter-service operated, and seating is limited. Best for takeout or pickup for larger groups of 4 or more. Food was excellent! Highly recommend the Cuban sandwich, sweet plantains, and house made juices. Didn’t try the dessert options, but look very good! Got to see a cake for pick up that looked amazing as well!
