Humble Coffee — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I was very excited about this new coffee nook! Last Thursday I was walking towards the space and I saw there was a guy in there on his phone .. and they were open!! I was so pumped, it was early & I needed coffee.

But then what happened after that was literally the weirdest thing ever. I stood there waiting … and so did the guy who was in there .. he was looking at his phone, then he looked up at me, then back at his phone, but he just stood there.

Then he decided to look up again and stare at me for maybe two seconds … buuut then he went back to looking at his phone and ignored me again. Lol

.. it was so strange, and he was very casual about it. There is no question that he saw me. We locked eyes.

I surely was not going to further bother him and speak up .. because he very obviously did not want to wait on me.

I’d like to say that I would give it another try, but that was too bizarre. Apathy is too much. Best of luck to...

So we stopped off in the parking lot looking via google for UCH champus. Noticed the Humble bee coffee kiosk. Ordered an Aloha for myself and a mocha for my partner. I LOVED this coffee. I am from Hawaii so of course the coffee sounded interesting. Maui where I'm from has a large lavender company growing up country in Kula. Coconut was the first thing I tasted, followed by the lavender which is subtle and not over powering. The gal gave us directions to the place we were looking for. Precise and got us there. I went through the drive thru (Barnes) today at 5:45pm. The dark haired young lady was visibly irritated with us pulling in at this time. We put in our order and informed us in a snarky tone that they close in 10 minutes. We felt very disrespected.
