We visited today after reading several reviews about how great the food was. We ordered several things from the menu because I like to try a little of everything. My husband ordered the Gorditas and I ordered the quesabirra tacos. We shared an order of chips and salsa, plantains and rice and beans. I also ordered two pork tamales to take home for tomorrow. I was hoping to try the pozole but they didn’t have it. We enjoyed everything that we tried. The spice level was not hot for us since we like spicy. The only thing we were disappointed with was the cost of the chips and salsa. It was $7.50. Yes, it was fresh and delicious but we have never spent that much on chips and salsa. Otherwise, it was a delicious meal.

La Conchita is far more than a quick stop for tacos; it is a culinary destination that welcomes you with genuine warmth and transports you straight to a cherished family table in Mexico. The cozy atmosphere feels intimate yet vibrant, setting the stage for an impressive meal. Service mirrors the food: attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in your enjoyment. La Conchita reminds us why dining out should nourish both body and spirit, and it will undoubtedly draw you back for another unforgettable meal.

The service was delightful & food is delicious! The herbs, spice and flavors are unique. The tamale is wrapped in a banana leaf. In my opinion it added a smoky flavor to the masa. I'm happy to have found another option for Mexican food. They also have Pinatas, money transfer and a small grocery store too šŸ˜āœØļø

As a former Angelino, this is by far THE best taco restaurant in Colorado Springs. They’re very generous with the meat in each taco. The flavors of all the tacos I tried are all very good. My cousins ordered the tamales and enchiladas and like their tacos, were great! The horchata, although a bit on the sweet end, goes very well with all of the food. The churros were amazing and served with extra chocolate dipping sauce, which surprisingly had a little bit of spice, but went well!

The establishment is spacious, but I can imagine they will need more tables as their business grows. Other than the food, they sell a good selection of drinks, Mexican candy, snacks, and even piƱatas. And they have a clean bathroom, which is ALWAYS a plus! Their staff are very friendly and helpful and sometimes run by children.

We enjoyed this place so much that we went twice in three days! I’m only here temporarily, but I’m going back at least one more time before heading home! HIGHLY...

Hands down AMAZING authentic Mexican food. Best mole I’ve ever had (they offer it on Monday’s or you can preorder). Best Tamales I’ve ever had, so moist, absolute amazing flavor (I had one red and one green sauce, both amazing, but the green was my favorite!). They know how to create the perfect spice with fantastic flavor! There was a gentleman eating tonight who recommended Lingua… I have never tasted this meat before, and I must admit, it was a little imitating! BUT he said it was the best he’s ever had, even out did his mom’s! Well I tried it, and I must agree this was delicious; tender and full of flavor! I am still thinking about it hours later!

I have now tried this family ran restaurant twice this week and both times the customer service and quality of food is over the top!

I cannot recommend...
