As a former Angelino, this is by far THE best taco restaurant in Colorado Springs. Theyāre very generous with the meat in each taco. The flavors of all the tacos I tried are all very good. My cousins ordered the tamales and enchiladas and like their tacos, were great! The horchata, although a bit on the sweet end, goes very well with all of the food. The churros were amazing and served with extra chocolate dipping sauce, which surprisingly had a little bit of spice, but went well!
The establishment is spacious, but I can imagine they will need more tables as their business grows. Other than the food, they sell a good selection of drinks, Mexican candy, snacks, and even piƱatas. And they have a clean bathroom, which is ALWAYS a plus! Their staff are very friendly and helpful and sometimes run by children.
We enjoyed this place so much that we went twice in three days! Iām only here temporarily, but Iām going back at least one more time before heading home! HIGHLY...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHands down AMAZING authentic Mexican food. Best mole Iāve ever had (they offer it on Mondayās or you can preorder). Best Tamales Iāve ever had, so moist, absolute amazing flavor (I had one red and one green sauce, both amazing, but the green was my favorite!). They know how to create the perfect spice with fantastic flavor! There was a gentleman eating tonight who recommended Lingua⦠I have never tasted this meat before, and I must admit, it was a little imitating! BUT he said it was the best heās ever had, even out did his momās! Well I tried it, and I must agree this was delicious; tender and full of flavor! I am still thinking about it hours later!
I have now tried this family ran restaurant twice this week and both times the customer service and quality of food is over the top!
I cannot recommend...

My husband ordered the Gorditas and I ordered the quesabirra tacos. We shared an order of chips and salsa, plantains and rice and beans. I also ordered two pork tamales to take home for tomorrow. I was hoping to try the pozole but they didnāt have it. We enjoyed everything that we tried. The spice level was not hot for us since we like spicy. The only thing we were disappointed with was the cost of the chips and salsa. It was $7.50. Yes, it was fresh and delicious but we have never spent that much on chips and salsa. Otherwise, it was a...
