I went into this location and it was the worst experience so far. The girl who took my order was rude. I ignored it. I get to pay and pull up my app and told her I was paying with my gift card balance and she looked at me stupid and said we still canāt do that- they havenāt figured it out. Weāve been having these issues. Funny itās the only location that canāt figure out how to use a GC balance as a payment. I then said I donāt want it if you canāt and to please get me a card with a number I can call and complain because every time I go in this location I have issues. The mgr comes to the front to ring it up again without saying anything. I told him the girl just told me it wouldnāt work without even trying it. He was combative from the start but called me sassy and rude. I was simply stating this is the only location Iāve been to in the US that had issues with my gift card as pymt- he yelled at me saying that was just my opinion. After this went on for a minute, I pulled out my phone to record the rest of the encounter. He didn't give me the discount from āfree upsize Fridayā so he pulled a dollar out of the tip jar to give me, but 20oz to 32oz isnāt just a dollar difference. The way this was handled was so unprofessional and I felt defeated as he continued to yell at me making no sense at all .. so I took the dollar and walked away to get my smoothie. He then followed me over there and continued to say I was the rude one throwing his hands all around and pointing his finger at me. I asked for his and the girls names and he said he would not be giving me that info so I left.
I have had nothing but issues every single time I go in this location. I love smoothie king and they are all normally SOO SO NICE but this location is one I will NEVER return to. The manager is terrible and I have a video of him yelling at me and when I asked for their names, he refused.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love Smoothie King, I'm originally from where it started so I KNOW SMOOTHIE KING. I grew up on it, worked at the 1st Smoothie King in COS, and an avid smoothie king drinker. I used to drive 30 mins just to get one in Castle Rock & on the south end of the Springs. I am very disappointed in this location for it's customer service from I believe the owner or manager. First of all, there has always been ONE type of strawberries. So when I got a drink with added strawberries, the cashier asked if I wanted sugar or sugar-free strawberries. I said give me the original strawberries (because there has never been two options before and no OTHER LOCATIONS asks this- it's always been one type of strawberries). When I received my drink it had NO FLAVOR. I asked them if they could remake the drink because it did not taste like normal (I should know because I have been getting the same drink since 2015). Plus there is a "we'll make it right guarantee sign" on the glass. The owner/ manager gave me a hard time about fixing my drink. First, they asked me if I've ever had this drink before. She gave me attitude about asking to re-make the drink (I was not giving attitude or being rude and I feel her demeanor was uncalled for). They had made my drink with the sugar-free strawberries which is not the normal strawberries. She took my receipt, looked up my order and said "this is the only time we will do this". She threw my receipt away without asking if I wanted it back. She made it seem like I have asked for them to remake my drink before in the past, which I have never done. SO I don't understand why she made that comment. I'm just not going to support a business that behaves this way. I was very excited about this location when it first opened, since I didn't have to drive all the way across town to enjoy my favorite smoothie's. No greeting mind you, BUT I was immediately asked if I could wait till seven before I walked in! I regretted that I had to inform the young lady that it was 7:01 AM. Blank stare. Still, no greeting. Lol, I almost couldnāt believe it. So, I continued in to look at the menu. However, I couldnāt really SEE the menu, because there was a young man on a ladder in front of it SWEEPING THE DUST AND GRIME off the ceiling vent right in front of the menuā¦and customer??!! All he did was turn around and tell me that they were out of certain ingredients and that If I wanted a bowl I could order the coconut bowl. But I realized if I decided to get anything, I would have to choose from the part of the menu I COULD SEE. Stillā¦no hello, no good morning, no how are you. Wow, just wow. No lie, this couldāve been one of those over-exaggerated skit scenarios that you use in a staff meeting to identify all the things that went wrong! After a moment of stunned disbelief⦠I decided I didnāt want anything. Oh, You ask why?⦠one: because I couldnāt SEE through the ladder guy to view the entire menu (and he clearly wasnāt moving on my account), two: I was a little apprehensive after seeing all the dust and grime floating into the air not gonna lieā¦and three: I just kinda wasnāt in the mood anymore.
