This is a combination of different bad experiences. Working in this plaza and having a 30 minute break and very limited options for eating, I keep giving this place a chance. Last week, I went in because the line for the drivethru was about 10 cars deep. I placed my order inside, after another gentleman and proceeded to wait for 25 minutes of my 30 minute lunch to get food. I counted 7 people that ordered after me who got their food and left. No one was at the counter long enough to even ask about my order in between running the register. When someone finally came up and I got the chance to ask, I gave them my name 4 times (which they still got wrong) and they told me there was a mess up and they were working on it. It was a two item order. I called and asked for a manager and explained what happened and asked me to come back in. I told him how long I waited and how staff treated me and he told me I could come back for a refund. The next day, I asked the cashier and they told me the manager who said he would help me next time I visited was unavailable so I left without ordering. After about 5 days, I decided to come back because of the long lines at all of the surrounding restaurants. I ordered 3rd in line and proceeded (again) to watch half a dozen people receive their orders and leave. The gentleman next to me had ordered two soft tacos and told me he had already been waiting for half an hour. Not to mention, during their lunch rush they only ever have one person at register and no one available to help locate your order or even ask for a refund (because who wants to spend their entire lunch break waiting for food they paid for that they canāt eat because they spent that whole break waiting to receive their order.) Fast forward to today, I ordered a $5 box in the drive thru, drove back and proceed to open the box. It was the nacho box with a little bit of melted cheese and some unmelted cheese shreds tossed on top with bits of cold steak peppered throughout. I will no longer be visiting or giving any more of my money to this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI rarely write bad reviews most especially when it comes to restaurants as I myself also work, as a general manager, in the service industry and I truly understand that things happen every now and then.
However, this is the FOURTH, I repeat the fourth time that I have visited this location and either received an incorrect order or zero sauce with my order through the drive through. This has caused me to turn around (again four times) and have to knock on the door as it is locked late-night, only to have the staff be exceptionally rude. At this point itās actually comical that I keep returning, thatās on me, but there isnāt a lot of late-night options around this area and after I get off at my restaurant downtown, quick and easy generally wins.
Last weekend when I was here (in the drive through) I tried to make conversation with the drive through employee and when asked how he was doing, in quote he stated āNot very good since I donāt want to be hereā. The hate in his voice made me feel like he was going to potentially do something to my food because he seemed genuinely upset that I was there. I thought to myself, wow, if one of my employees said that to a customer he would no longer be an employee but I was trying to give him the benefit of doubt that maybe he had a rough day.
Again, I work in a restaurant and know that things happen but FOUR TIMES is absolutely unacceptable.
Taco Bell is supposed to be consistent and I have been an avid fan for years but this specific location has left a bad taste in my mouth to the point that I do not wish to eat at Taco Bell in general strictly based off of the employees. I will never, ever, EVER return to this location, that is for sure!
Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere! So not worth the trouble and lack of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe use this Taco Bell at least once a week and normally it is the best one in town with fantastic service. Tonight I came home from a business trip and my wife stopped to pick up our online order so it would be ready for me when I got home. Part of the order was 3 locos tacos with no lettuce. She checked the order and found they had lettuce. She went back and tried to go in the front door to find it was locked due to staffing⦠what didnāt make sense were the multiple teenagers in the lobby hanging out and getting food (I'm assuming buddies of the workers) and the workers completed ignored her. She got back in the drive thru line and waited another half hour to get to the window to get the new tacos. She gets the bag and pulls to the parking lot so the line behind her can keep moving. She finds now they are normal and locos tacos STILL WITH LETTUCE⦠obviously upset I asked her to just come home and we will order some pizza since itās now 10 at night. I pull the whole order out to find every single taco shell is broken. The grilled cheese burrito not only isnāt a grilled cheese burrito but barely has anything inside of it with even a piece of broken taco shell inside the burrito⦠I understand these probably are mostly high schoolers and their first job but someone needs to be there holding them accountable and training them. Especially on respect and accountability, like not having your buddies hanging out in your closed lobby. She did call to explain the situation and they offered to set stuff aside for next time and I appreciate the effort but I donāt need free stuff or a refund, just listening skills and attention to...
