John, the owner, is a liar.
I ordered $100 worth of food through Postmates {Uber Eats}, my first time using the app, and the driver stole my entire order. I asked their customer service for assistance through the app (the only way to reach them) but they refused me a refund. I have the screenshots to backup everything I'm writing here.
So I called and spoke with John, the owner of The Spot, and initially he was helpful, and called Uber Eats to request a refund on my behalf. When they kept on telling him to have me go through the app, and he knew I already had tried, he told me he was going to remake all the food and deliver the food after he closed up the restaurant for the night. I TOLD HIM THAT WAS NOT NECESSARY, AND HE INSISTED YET I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. HE DIDN'T SHOW. HE DIDN'T CALL! That was Sunday, it is now Tuesday, I've tried reaching him at the kitchen, and all he does is hang up on me and ghost me. He has a liar, unhelpful, and although I thought this was going to be my new go-to place now I'm going to do everything I can to be sure that he doesn't ever get any business from anybody I know. $100 worth of food stolen, he then lied to me, didn't call me to tell me he wasn't showing up, and now refuses to call me back and now hangs up on me when I actually get through calling...
Read moreVery good food, made extremely well with maximum flavor the cornerstonecofceve4yhing they make, thus is a great new place. Available for delivery to saty ur to .go. and now expanding with smoothies and coffee as well as packaged snacks at an incredible prices it just gets better. There soon will be events and game nights, movie nights, and plans for other themed community type getvtogethers should make them a hub of neighborhood activity. It's become a thing of the past to have small "spots that people if a neighborhood gather and become an actual community where they meet up for a snack or a treat and are able to create events that bring people together and let's a neighborhood become a connected group. I can see this place doing exactly that and I think it will be a huge positive influence on an already very cool and good neighborhood that can only get better because they have a place to come together and get to know each other. That its9family friendly is...
Read moreThis little hole in the wall is one of Colorado Springs best kept secrets. The food was absolutely astounding. I was speechless as I devoured a poboy with shrimp cooked to perfection. When I was through with that I spoke up only to try bites of all the other dishes that the table ordered. Each dish was unique, and delicious. The seasoning was on point in every dish, and there is a wide variety of cultural cuisine. Not a single bad bite in the whole meal. Then, since it is comfort food, and if you’re here, you’re already indulging, so get the strawberry fry bread dessert. I would recommend bringing your own dolly to get wheeled out on as they do not have them available. This place is right out of a Diners, Drive Ins and Dives episode (though not yet featured.) Treat yo self, and definitely check this place out. 5 stars,...
