We found your place online the other day week before last. I grew up eating take out at Arthur Treacher in a mall in Eatontown NJ as a kid from 1966 to 1972. I loved that experience. Food was excellent, the news paper was a great touch I was 10 years to 16 years then. We came by on Thursday July 17, 2025. My eating diet has changed a bit from 16 years old. Been vegan now since 2014. I'll be 70 in 2026. My husband ordered a sausage roll and chips. I ordered chips, coleslaw and scraps. The food was excellent! The chips were fresh and not oily tasting. The scraps, the left over batter from batter frying delicious! The coleslaw was a great change from American Style. You could taste the ingredients in the slaw which is great. The veggies were crunchy but not raw crunchy. The chips, they were great! You could taste the potato flavor which is not always the case with French fries. The person at the counter took tome to explain the items we ordered. The atmosphere was great. There were customers on the patio and inside eating as well as those who ordered take out.    Read moreBrilliant!!! I was put off at first by the price being a bit more than I expected. The fellow that took my order immediately put me at ease and filled me with confidence that it was well worth it. He also said the tartar sauce was a must have! I ordered the cod, skipped the chips and got the tartar. I went out to my car while it was prepared. The fellow that had taken my order took the time to bring it out to me which I thought was great customer service as well as having reverence for this beautiful food! He wanted me to enjoy it at the proper temperature. I could tell he was proud of what he was serving. The owner was very welcoming, bright and funny. đ I came home to eat it and found a very generous portion inside the container. I feel in love with my first bite. I savored every bite after, so perfect and delicious! I will surely return and add the chips next time as I bet they are amazing too! Yummy đ...
