I've been coming here for about 6 years as I work not far away. The quality has slowly deteriorated over this time period. However, it's that they've forgotten the saying that the customer is always right which had prompted me to write this review:
After ordering my typical sandwich, pickle and drink today, I was told by the individual who took my order that I hadn't ordered a drink with my meal. The total I was charged seemed high enough to include a drink and I questioned the logic. I was told, "sir, as clear as day I'm looking at the receipt and there's no drink on it!" I proceeded then to place another order and pay for a drink, thinking that maybe something was wrong but they hadn't recorded it. Once I received my order I saw that I clearly had ordered a drink with the original order and had been charged twice. I was then told by the staff (5 people behind the counter) that I would have to wait to get things fixed until they served the customers in line.
I then left in frustration .. it just didn't seem worth my time to wait in protest for a dollar + change. And as you might image, the sandwich was bad. Let me say that this matter is LOCATION SPECIFIC. While I'm aware that the restaurant industry is stretched sideways in the wierd post-covid economy, I have not seen the same issues with the Jimmy Johns near where I live, or at Chick Fil A or another establishment that brags about their service like jimmy johns does. For a sandwich in the area, head down to the other end of the business center to the Jersey Mikes, which serves 3X the customers in the same timeframe as this Jimmy Johns, and would just give you a drink for free in this instance, recognizing that it's not worth the bad business to dwell on a mistake, much less...
Read moreI went to grab some food on my lunch break from work. I did notice that their was quite a long line but I was really craving a sandwich so I waited. I know with Covid and that state of the world right now there is a lot of people that don't want to work and a lot of places are very low staffed. This was defiantly the case today visiting this location. There was only two young men working Isaac and Michael and honestly they were killing it. You could tell they were extremely overwhelmed but they kept it so cool and collected. They were so kind and did everything they could to assist every customer with a friendly attitude even though they were knee deep in about 25 orders. Isaac was working both registers, to go and helping with sandwiches whenever he got a second. Michael was so focused and efferently getting out the sandwich's with no mistakes as quickly as he could. I so overly impressed with how they were handling this tough situation. I think these two men need to be strongly recognized for their dedication and hard work and shown that it doesn't go unnoticed especially in todays society. Can't say enough how inspired I was by their customer service and ability to keep it so...
Read moreWe were passing through and placed an order for carry out for a couple sandwiches. When we arrived to pick them up, it was a complete disaster. The sandwiches were horrible, tasted like someone dumped salt in them and they were missing several ingredients. I called to speak with the manager about the situation the next day and to get a refund. We love Jimmy Johns, so we were really disappointed by the quality of food and surprised how messed up our sandwiches were. But, an even bigger surprised came when the manager, "Kevin", said he couldn't do anything for us except give us a credit at that store. So ridiculous, why would I want a credit at a store I'll never go back to nor live near? And for what, to eat more bad food?? He refused to give me a refund and basically told me there was nothing else he can do. When I asked for his boss' name, he refused to give it and gave me the whole, "we'll call you, don't call us spiel. I would not advise eating at this store, if you value your Jimmy Johns experience. These people have no clue what they are doing! So sad! And, they certainly don't care about customer...
