Awesome spot! I was traveling through town and of course was in town on probably the busiest day of summer for this town. The Dam duck race day! I missed the even but tried several spots in town while I was there for the day and this place was one of my favorites! The bartender had even volunteered at the event then worked an entire shift! Stopped in after leaving a project in Evergreen. Nice eclectic little joint. Bar set up was cool and had a great vibe. The bartender was friendly and quick with on the serve. I had the PoBoy with the crab cakes, fries, and an order of hush puppies. It was all good! The hush puppies were perfect. The batter was tasty and came with a side of honey dipping sauce that really added to the experience. The fries were seasoned well and hot out of the fryer. Do not go here! We had multiple things wrong with our service. I ordered a medium hamburger and it came out raw. The bartender didn’t write down our order and had to come back and verify it; and still forgot two items. We were never checked on after our food was dropped off. THE BARTENDER WAS DRINKING ON THE JOB. Everything fried was over done. She took off the burger and our drinks from the check but it was a horrible experience. You can tell the locals treat it as their watering hole and they ignore strangers. Will not be returning.
