We went for Valentines Day and had a reservation. We arrived about 15 min early, and we were told to take a seat and wait for our reservation time. We still ended up waiting over 15 min for a table past our reservation time. The hostess was pretty cold and unfriendly... though she was probably pretty overwhelmed with how many people were there for 6:30p reservations. It seemed as though they had booked too many people into the 6:30 timeslot. When we were seated, our waitress was also not the friendliest, but I'm going to say again, I think they were all overwhelmed. We ordered drinks, one being a mocktail for my daughter. When it arrived, they could not immediately confirm that it was, in fact, alcohol free. Drinks did take a while to show up. Our food arrived, and everything was pretty great with our food. I recommend the duck fat fries! We enjoyed the history of the restaurant and the decorative touches throughout. I hope to try it again, maybe when they are less busy and frazzled.

Limited menu!! Do not believe the menu online! Prices are HIGH for meals so stuck with the happy hour. It took about 16 mins to even get someone to come to the table to order drinks!! I don't think they knew who was covering the table? Because there were PLENTY of servers walking around. One waitress was dressed pretty unprofessional and revealing all over. Our waiter was multi lingual but seemed to struggle with English (not being rude, he was nice so it's all good... just stating). The food was pretty good but somewhat small servings. My brother ordered some tacos and had to eat again when we got home. Food was out pretty fast considering how dang long it took just to be "seen" sitting at the table. Won't return. Enough good places to go to then this poor service. Good? Some neat decor touches and of course could see TVs from seating so that was cool since I was catching parts of the game. Otherwise, not spectacular place

1st time: Food ribs and delicious gluten free chocolate brownie with ice cream. Service is a bit different, we had many different people waiting on us the entire time. 2nd time: we opted for outdoor patio seating since they said they were busy and it would have been a long wait. Outside was a bit cool in October so we asked for the fabric to be let down to block the wind, nobody came so we did it ourselves. The light was out near our table so we had to use our cell phone to read the menu and see our food. I had a cheeseburger and fries, my friend had green chili salmon. Last trip was BBQ pulled pork sandwich that was amazing- the sauce has a bit of spice to it that is wonderful. I had great service. * First time with happy hour bar menu food - deviled eggs were okay, not as good as we hoped. Buffalo chicken Sandwich and duck fat fries were stellar! Gluten free flatbread pizza was good, but needed salt. Thanks

Saturday 9th my wife and I went to the Old Blinking Light restaurant for lunch. She had the Taco Salad with chicken and that was enough for her for two meals it was delicious. I had the Bison Burger came with fries and I also ordered the Macaroni & Cheese which came with a small bowl of green chili it was amazing the bowl of macaroni and cheese for most people would have been their lunch but I was very hungry. Now details on the bison burger the diameter of the burger was the size of a slider but it was an inch thick caramelizing onions mushrooms lettuce tomato cheese pickles it was freaking delicious. I had it cooked medium well very juicy they give you enough fries for about two people fries were great. For my wife and I she had a chocolate martini as well that was $12 but with tip and everything we walked out of there $83. I couldn't finish all the macaroni and cheese brought it home then she brought the rest of her taco salad home. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and great music. I do recommend checking out the Old Blinking Light restaurant in Highlands ranch.

Update on the Old Blinking Light. Sunday July 10th my wife and I went back to the OBL restaurant. My wife got some sort of chicken salad it very large she enjoyed it brought the rest of the salad home. I had the bison burger with fries it was outstanding food last time so I wanted that again today well let me tell you it sucked I don't know what happened different chef or what the story is but I did not enjoy it all the fries were burnt greasy the bison burger was dry no seasoning it just was not the same as three months ago so I don't know what the story is maybe don't go on a Sunday because the cooks there on Sundays aren't very good no disrespect to them but it...

Last night I was at “old blinking light” with a friend at town center in Highlands Ranch. We decided to sit at the bar for appetizers and drinks. My friend who has a PhD in history and religious studies and I were having a wonderful stimulating conversations about history and religion minding our own business sitting at the bar. The bartender waited on us was a younger woman with long kind of washed out hair color between light brown and dirty blonde. She wasn’t friendly to begin with but towards the end of our evening it got worse, without asking for our bill she threw the bill on the bar and started cleaning off all of our appetizer dishes even the ones that still had a lot of food on it and informed us that they wanted to close earlier, it was barely 8 o’clock. We had to put up with her sourpuss face the entire evening, there were still plenty of people in the restaurant and at the bar, we got off of our barstool and I proceeded to put my coat on, she immediately addressed my friend in a nasty voice that he didn’t pay yet as if we were going to leave without paying. We are mature well to do people and we certainly were not going to leave without paying. The way we were treated the entire night was extremely poor and insulting for no reason. There were others who work there hanging around at the end of the bar started giving us nasty looks, I’m still trying to figure out why? We didn’t say anything to anyone, we were minding our own business having great conversations. I am not sure what crime we committed to receive such a terrible, terrible service and treatment. By the way, she also made really bad margaritas. The food might be OK the price might be affordable but it’s not a pleasant place to visit and the service...

A nice Mothers Day, ending in a mother’s disappointment. My mother was so excited to patron this restaurant on her special Mother’s Day. We called ahead earlier in the week to see if they were taking orders ahead and they were not, they said to call the day of when we wanted our food. We ordered at 4:30 so we would get our food by a reasonable time, and we were told a 30-35 minute wait. We left our name and number and headed over, getting there 30 minutes out on the dot. Only to find a full waiting area and a poor frazzled host running frantically from the kitchen to the front. As the phone is ringing off the hook. We were third in line and witnessed a man whose order got lost and they took another for him and made him wait even longer than I’m sure he anticipated. Then when we talked to this overwhelmed host, we come to find out they lost our order too. Only after he had again (frantically) searches the backs of napkins, old menus and papers to see if anyone had written our order down. The only thing he could offer us is to reorder and wait an additional 45 minutes for our order placed about 45-hour previously. I understand it was a busy time, but this poor host had no back up from a manager or another employee and they kept taking more orders than they could handle. This was a mixture of no staff support and lack of management and planning for a Mother’s Day rush. We planned ahead and now could not order from anywhere else unless we wanted food by a very late time. Very disappointed with the Old Blinking Light...
