I would recommend staying away from this store. Use the one in Park Meadows it is much better. I ordered a birthday cake for my grandmother's birthday. I placed the order many days in advance. When I arrived (after 12pm as instructed) I was told it was not finished yet. So I told them I would be back shortly to pick it up as I had an appointment to make. When I returned they brought out the cake to me. I should have checked it but I was in a hurry so I did not. Now my family has been ordering Cold Stone cakes for probably 20 years now. Usually the things are rock solid. You have to set them out for at least 30min before you can even cut them. So imagine my surprise when 5 minutes into my 10 minute journey home I noticed the cake was getting melty and weepy. It caused the thing to look not so great by the time I put it in the freezer (again about 10 min after picking it up). Additionally, it was supposed to have writting on it and it did not, but I can't take it back because it would be soup by the time I got there. The store also was dilapidated and crazy hot. The poor staff looked miserable and there was a very off smell, like something had gone very bad and had not been cleaned up. Ive lived in HR 30yrs, and am a long time Cold Stone customer. Been Dashing for extra $$. Max said this to me after he ‘nodded’ me to a diff pick up area, demanded (loudly) several times he see me click confirm (which I was attempting to complete), thus making an unnecessary and uncomfortable scene for all to witness. (Understand their policy, but Dashers don’t work for him and it’s unclear if CS condones his arrogance and unprofessionalism). We ordered online because last time we went we had to wait about 35 minutes in line, so we thought online would be better since we had some things to do. We arrive at the Cold Stone and even wait a few extra minutes after the pick up time to give them a little extra time since saw the place was full. We then go in, check in and proceed to wait 50 minutes after the order was placed!! They served everyone coming in first, people that had come in way after us came and went with their ice cream, finally when the place was empty they made ours. What's the point of ordering online if when we show up everyone that's coming in gets served first before they even begin...
