Had an awful experience here recently. We were seated quickly, and our server, Brady, was very nice. Little things, like sweetener for tea and a second beer were forgotten for quite awhile, but for the most part, he was great. The food was where we ran into problems. My sister-in-law ordered an item from their new summer menu. Baby back ribs. They were so torched on the bottom, that you couldn't pull the meat apart! It flaked into tiny sawdust like bits. We told our server, he said he would get a pulled bbq pork sandwich going for her and send his manager over. At this point, she didn't argue, but would have preferred anything other than pork!: The manager(Jimmy, I think), came and asked if everything was ok. When my sister-in-law, told him about her dilemma, he said"Oh?". She felt the need to continue explaining that the ribs were inedible! At this point, he acquiesced , and left. Terrible customer service! Putting her on the spot, like that! Her replacement meal arrived, but she still did finish well after everyone else. Leaving fries untouched, as she had requested rice, originally, which was taken away with the ribs. Again, poor service, as they should have given her rice again, or asked, at least! Then the bill came. We were credited for the ribs, but charged for the sandwich! Awful! I manage a business, and I would never have charged for the replacement sandwich, especially after not even letting her choose her replacement meal! We also had ordered food to go, for members of our family at home, and sure enough side items were left out of their orders! I should have checked, but assumed they would make sure after the rib snafu, but alas, no..... When I called the restaurant to complain about the missing food, and the terrible experience, I was completely brushed off by Jimmy, the manager. He said he'd tell the kitchen that they had made an error. No apology, no offer any other replacement food. When I vented that the whole experience was underwhelming, he then said he was sorry. But what a lame attempt at appeasing a very, upset customer! I honestly think none of the families there, would ever go back! There were ten people there! Such a shame! If he had just been kind and solicitous towards our party, and replaced the food paid for, all of this frustration could have been averted! Such a bummer! I wouldn't suggest going there, until managment learns about true...
Read moreTruly a rock bottom experience. As a veteran of the service industry, I recognize arriving within the last hour of restaurant hours is always a role of the dice, but this was absurd. Started off well enough with a friendly host stand and pleasant server. My spouse ordered a beer, I ordered a cocktail and waters arrive without asking. Drinks followed shortly after and our food was out in amazing time. The nacho platter was impressive and tasty, however, the Philly cheesesteak on a gluten-free bun was a complete catastrophe and insult to sandwiches everywhere. If you look at the photo with this post, you'll see not only the stomach turning pool of grease on the plate but also the overly saturated glistening bun. I took one bite and it was like someone served me a tablespoon of canola oil... just foul. Our server took a really long time to find her way back to the table after dropping off the food which meant my sandwich got more congealed and cold while I nibbled on the surprisingly tasty and crispy waffle fries and helped myself to my partner's nachos. When she did finally wander back, she was quick to respond to my request for a new bun on a fresh plate as I know better than to send food back at that time of night. But by the time the magical second bun not soaked in an artery cloaking amount of oil arrived at the table, I was over it and had lost my appetite and my spouse was done eating. Not once did a manager do a table touch or seem at all concerned, but there was one gentleman who seemed very interested in flirting with the staff. I don't leave this review lately, but what we experienced tonight was beyond disappointing. Because we are not "those people", we still tipped $10 on the $56 tab and didn't ask for a refund on my sandwich. That's on us and on management for not stopping by. Overall we suggest avoiding this location unless you're someone who is really into overpaying for mediocre food and lackluster service in a location with the personality and overall ambiance of...
Read moreWent in to have dinner on Friday, November 8th, 2019. The place was packed with patrons, which is a good sign, but bad if you're in a hurry. I would reccomend calling and placing an order, and then picking it up. But if you're not in a hurry, then I would just recommend calling ahead to put your name on the waitlist. That's what we did. And even though the place was jumping, we got our table within 10 minutes of arriving. It worked out so smoothly. It was great! And it got even better from there. I was with my wife, my daughter, and my granddaughter. Our waiter was Johnny on the spot with our service. He brought our drinks and appetizers rather quickly. We then ordered dinner. I ordered the steak and shrimp combo. Which is way different than ordering the 12oz ribeye, with a side of shrimp added on. When you order the combo, the steak is only 6oz, and you get 4 shrimp. This is printed on the menu, but I failed to read that part. So, when it came to the table, you can imagine my surprise. I asked my server about it, and he immediately sent over the manager on duty, who is Melissa. The customer service was outstanding! As I explained to her what had happened, she completely empathized with me, and told me not to worry, and that she would bring me another plate of steak and shrimp right out, and that she would comp me the extra food, even though it was clearly not the restaurant's fault that I didn't get what I thought I was getting. Had I payed more attention to the menu, this would have never had happened. So, kudos to Melissa and her staff for their outstanding customer service, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for...
