ZERO STARS
I came here with my 8-year-old son to enjoy a drink together. He wanted to charge his phone and get on the WiFi, so I helped him with that while we decided what he wanted to order. We were there for maybe 10 minutes before a manager approached me and asked, “Are you going to order something?” I said yes, and asked why. She told me we had already been there “at least an hour.” I told her that was absolutely not true—it had only been 10 minutes.
I’m a regular customer. I come to this Starbucks several times a week, often for business meetings, and I always order. I even asked the manager if she recognized me as a regular and if I always buy something. She admitted yes to both, yet still pressed me about “being there too long without ordering.” After realizing she was wrong, she tried to backtrack with, “Oh no, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” But at that point, the damage was done.
To make it worse, another employee later told me it’s “company policy” that you can’t be in a Starbucks at all unless you’ve purchased something. That’s ridiculous, and the way it was handled felt insulting.

Read moreI’m really disappointed to write this as it may be only my 2nd less than 5 star review ever. The last three times I have Been inside the store I have Had to ask for something for my drink, an extra Splenda, another time whip cream on my sons hot chocolate with the chocolate syrup on top (ordered that), and another time something else, but the point is, my drink wasn’t made correctly, and the other times I SIMPLY needed another Splenda. So I stand at the area where they serve the drinks on the counter. Every single time I just Stand there AND STAND THERE! I obviously want to drink my cook and try Gently to get their attention and they FOR SURE hear me but keep making drinks. More and more. I think Okay after this one they will surly stop and say do you need anything? Because you are standing at the counter not sitting in the comfy chair with your friends! Still no! Then finally after a really really absurd amount of time, they finally acknowledge me and I ask… they are pretty sweet about the Splenda, but having to add whip cream and choc syrup seems to be the most annoying thing they ever did in...
Read moreMy drink was prepared by a young man with short, dark, side-parted hair and glasses. Beyond the customer service which was lackluster at absolute best, with the young man being very rude and dismissive, both mine and my husbad’s drinks (venti) were filled 3/4 the way at most. On top of that, the drinks themselves were prepared very poorly (neither had near any real flavor, being entirely overpowered by milk and very bitter). Frankly, given that Starbucks has a reported base-pay of 16-22$/hr on Glassdoor for baristas, I would expect either vastly better customer service, or at the very least, better quality beverages. Entirely disappointing to find that one barista is quite possibly ruining the image of this location in the minds of many of it’s patrons. Also, no...
