This Starbucks ROCKS in every way! My wife and I visited this Starbucks twice today having never visited before. We're on vacation for the week in the Steamboat Springs area and wanted a good cup of coffee between vacation activities. The location is convenient, there's ample parking, the building looks great from the outside and nicely decorated on the inside, we were very warmly welcomed by several of the staff as we entered the place, we were served quickly by a friendly and patient barista, our drinks were delish & hot, the dining room was clean & tidy, there were many different kinds of comfortable seating in the huge dining room (as well as outside), and the restrooms were clean.
I visited this Starbucks again today while on vacation nearby... I would give it 5 stars for all of their wonderful, friendly employees and delicious coffee, except for the one rude guy employee this morning who admonished me to put my mask over my nose. My hubby ordered a salted caramel hot chocolate and we got a pumpkin spice mocha? They fixed it. But on Saturday, I waited about five minutes past receiving my hubby's drink. Finally asked about my drink and the truly poor customer service barrister said they have lots of orders going on.... even though I said about five people after me had already been served. Then the miscreant of an employee said that he would get it and literally five minutes later still no drink. I went to the cashier who finally jumped on the mistake and took care of it. This Starbucks needs help. Steamboat needs a few more Starbucks if they are this busy with errors. I am happy to be back home in NoCo where the four or five I frequent are amazing. Read moreVery disappointed. Used the drive through. My order was not correct. I believe the person taking the order was fairly new. I explained at the window what I wanted, finally one of the other baristas came to the window. I had ordered a tall iced mocha, non fat milk and no whipped cream (not a white mocha or a skinny mocha). I received my drink that cost $4.45, once on the road found out it was nothing more than an iced chocolate milk for $4.45. Very disappointed. The original person at the window was so flustered she didn’t even finish waiting on me, simply walked away.
