Ate here for a late lunch for the first time. It was good. We started with their salsa that came with a hot and a mild. Honestly I’ve had better but I liked the fact that they brought out to options. We got the Colorado chili nachos which were really good even though I personally don’t like Colorado chili I prefer New Mexico chili. We got 3 separate entrees. Stuffed poblano peppers, mocojate, and chipotle chicken. They all looked good. The mocojate had the best presentation sizzling hot l. I had the chipotle chicken which I liked the plating and the flavors were good. I would have probably ordered something else but this was a business related meal and I was distracted while we were busy talking I just randomly chose this. My only complaint is the onions they had in my plate particularly. They were raw and incredibly smelling. I really enjoy onions but for this plate it really almost ruined the dish. It did not pair well. I would recommend they be grilled or left out.

Really enjoyed the following things - open layout and clean sitting area - bar looked nice and great decorations Food - great portions maybe even more food than you really need. (I’m overweight and I couldn’t finish my food). - loved the avocado rolls I didn’t know what they were till we ordered them - we got the chipotle burrito and enchilada. They cover the burrito in sauce which some may be taken back by. Glad we walked further in the parking lot to check this out (we were originally going to go to qdoba).

These folks are busy which is a great thing but I have NEVER had a server tell me "We are busy.. I tell you what I need you to do, when I get back I need you to tell me what you want to eat and drink"...this was my first time and I felt under pressure...well, I decided on the Chimichanga....I've never had a chimichanga made with frozen vegetables...there are a lot of things I can accept but ... in the President's favorite words..."come on, man".

RUN FOR YOU LIFE!!!! I have been to this restaurant many times, so this review is not based on one visit. Service was NEVER good, even on their BEST day. It started bad and digressed to absolutely horrid! The main dish is frustration and anger, with a side of humiliation, with optional degradation for desert. Their daily special is negligence.

The food was never that good, it was just OK. After many different meals, there was never one that gave me that "Wow, Delicious, Want More!" experience! Chips are stale, salsa is OK. WAY OVERPRICED! Why did I go there so often you ask? Because it's convenient location just off Hwy 40 and Mt Werner Rd when travelling through Steamboat.

Last time I was there with my family on 7/30/16 I received HORRIBLE service......it was so bad, it was DEGRADING and INSULTING. We were given chips and salsa AFTER sitting for more than 10 min!!!! Mind you, it was NOT busy!!! (It is rarely ever busy,) We were literally ignored by the waiters. Never asked for drink orders. There were staff doing ABSOLUTELY nothing. We finally walked out. On the way out, I spoke to a female staff (that was doing nothing) about the fact we received no service. She didn't care. It's just a job. Her head is in oblivion, not customer service. They don't value customers.

Needless to say, go elsewhere. If you feel like Mexican food, go to Taco Bell. Go to Cantina. Go to Fiesta Jalisco. Don't waste your money or time. All you will get is angry. A paying customer should never experience such negligence and lack of values. Spare yourself, family,...

I’m really disappointed to be writing this review because I have worked in the industry. Tonight we, a group of 7 people, dined in the restaurant. We sat down to an almost empty restaurant. After we had been there and were wrapping up our meal (we were finishing our cocktails and conversation), we were given the bill, paid the bill and were told they needed the table so we needed to leave. When I approached the manager, he started arguing with me about us being in the wrong as they needed the table for another group. Well, I completely appreciate them wanting to make money, I also do not appreciate how we were treated as customers. The restaurant never informed us that they needed the table for a reservation prior to them asking us to leave. We were at the restaurant for approximately 80 minutes as a group of 7. That’s not excessive and we were close to being done. I’ve never been treated so poorly and when I worked in this industry, I would have never done what the staff did to us. Buyer beware: they don’t care about you,...
