Overall terrible experience at this location and will not ever be returning. We were a group of 10 out to celebrate a colleague getting promoted. Our server was Jamie A. The first issue was that they had no fryers available to cook any sides/appetizers - not a huge deal and is what it is. An additional issue was the wait time for beers/food in general. The place didn't look busy, and we understood that we were a big group but waited almost 40 minutes for our first drinks. Got to the point where we needed to order two for the 2nd round b/c it would take too long. Finally, to top the experience off was the QR code payment off your receipt. If you dine here, never use this payment system. Just give the card to your server instead of trying to use the "express pay." We used this and had a bill of around $300. Paid through the QR code and added a tip of $15 "dollars" instead of hitting the "percent" tab. Obviously was a mistake and I am happy our server brought it up. However, she was incredibly disrespectful and straight-out rude to myself and the group after seeing this. She asked "how our experience was" and we told her the truth. It was terrible. She advised us of the tip amount we gave to which I immediately told her that was a mistake and how could we correct it through the app/express pay. She replied with "no idea" and stormed off. Totally understand that a 15-dollar tip on a $300 tab is a slap in the face, which, again, was never our intention. Sent one of the co-workers off to an ATM while we all waited and we grabbed another $50 bucks cash out to give to her. When I went up to give the cash portion of her tip, she snapped it out of my hand and turned around/left without letting me speak or advise again about the issue from the QR code app Express Pay. Clearly having a bad day - which I know we can all have. My co-workers and I all work retail as well and understand the situation. However, the response to us correcting it as well as the overall experience here, was...
Read moreOn March 13th my daughter, my one year old and myself drove down to this mall to meet my friend (who drove from CO Springs). We were going to take my kids to the little aquarium, have a late lunch, and do some shopping. I called as we left dinner to see if we would need a reservation. The man said that 3 is a slow time so we should be ok. We went to the restaurant and were told there would be a 20 min wait (which is fine I didn't make a reservation so I can't expect a table immediately. We were set at 3:20 and the place was not busy at all I'm talking 70% of tables were open). We ordered two salads and a hamburger with fries. We waited an hour! Keeping a one year old busy for one hour while hungry is nearly impossible. I took my one year old into the hall because he could no longer sit. On my way back into the restaurant I asked to speak to the manager and told her we had been waiting for an exceptionally long time and that the 6 six top next to us that arrived after us was done eating and paying their bill and our food had yet to arrive. I told her the waitress was sweet and apologized and told us it was taking so long because the kitchen was backed up with to-go orders but it seemed a little ridiculous of a wait. She apologized and said she would check and see what was going on. Finally our food arrived. Both of our salads were missing the avocado and mine was missing the cheese. My daughter said hers was fine. I told the waitress and all she said was 'I'm sorry.' No offer to get it or correct it. Both of us ended up only eating maybe 1/4 of the salads. No further communication from the manager. We ordered cheesecake to go because by this point we were left with 45 min until the mall closed. We rushed through our aquarium visit and after that we were left with no time all due to waiting for lousy food. Next time I'll grab subway or anything else for that matter. So disappointed in...
Read moreI can tell you that the woman behind the bar was definitely a poor bartender. Short, blonde hair, hair pulled back in a pony. When we sat down, she was busy finalizing other things before she got to us. We were the only two at the bar. I did watch a gentleman make a bar drink as a test for his managers which then made me realize I wanted to try it. It's known as the Georgia peach. Absolutely delicious by the way. To our mistake we asked the girl how her day was and she complained to us that it's not fair when tables are given to certain people and she's been here for multiple hours doing jobs to get the day ready. Like I don't want to hear about your complaints. We then order our food. We both thought to ourselves man, our food is taking some time. We ate our food, we had our drinks. After the meal and getting our check is when my husband realized that her ticket time was 40 minutes. It never should have taken that long. When we come back to this location and we will because we live in the area, if that woman is working the bar. I'll sit anywhere else except for her location. Man she was just terrible. Terrible service equals a bad tip. Do the math if you're a great server and don't complain then you get compensated well but this was not the case. Almost a $90 order and I only tipped her $10. She deserved less, my husband was just kind.
To think about it, we've had the server before and she was a train wreck before too. I don't know why you still keep her behind the bar. I much prefer the gentleman with blonde hair and glasses. He's really good at his job and knows his stuff! Same with the guy with glasses and long hair, he also knows his stuff, but still again not as good as the guy with the blonde hair and glasses. Sorry I don't know...
