El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Colton

I placed a mobile order at 1:35PM. It said it would be done by 1:41PM. It was 1:46, thought I would go in and see what was going on. I spoke to a lady guy with glasses and a little red head girl and was told that they were waiting for my burrito. Okay, so I went back to curbside because that’s what I ordered. It was 1:58, other cars had gone by and nothing. I go back in and the guy in the glasses said, oh! Her food. At this point I’m upset because I have to go back to work. I quickly told them to give me my money back because I have to go back to work. The response I got was, well your food is ready. If my food was already, why not bring it to me? So I talked to the manager, who was beyond condescending, refunded my money and told me, well sometimes we’re busy. No apology, nothing. I asked her for corporates number she told me it’s on the receipt. How would I have a receipt if I never got my food. This place is run by a rude, unprofessional, woman. I gave it two stars for their new chicken sandwiches 👎 so here my review, and some thoughts the location is great since it’s near by Walmart and the freeway and I always come to this location since it’s close to my house and buy the family combos but Today I decided to try their new sandwiches and I spent $9.50 that I wish I had not! The sandwich I got was the chipotle crunchy one and as I opened the foil I was sadly sadly disappointed. First it did not look anything’ll they picture and sending the taste of the chicken was sour and very dry, I thought it what be a grilled chicken breast but it was a defrosted breast. The bun was burned and it looked like they pressed it for what reason I don’t know. I tried to eat it but could not which I hate because I don’t poke to throw food away! Don’t come to this location unless you want to be disappointed. They messed up my order multiple times in a row, first charging me for guac when I ordered queso dip then forgetting my drink and utensils. When I finally sit down to eat some of the chicken tasted like dish soap or some kind of cleaner and was inedible tasting as if they cross contaminated or didn’t properly rinse off the grills first or splashed mop water on it. Either way I’d rather not eat Dawn or Clorox or whatever it is. Do better, until then I’ll just go to Wendy’s next door.
