First off I'd like to say this place had FANTASTIC service. A cook named Michael was very friendly and had excellent customer service. Second of all I noticed reviews complaining that certain order didn't have this or that..as the customer one should inquire what is in something before it's ordered. I would think that it's common sense to do so. If any adjustments are needed to make the order to ones liking, the cooks would gladly do so if only communicated with. So instead of nit picking about what the order didn't come with, one should simply order their food the way they want it when originally ordered. Third, this is authentic Mexican food. If anyone is familiar with the true authenticity of Mexican food, one would know that they used A LOT of oil. Though this place doesn't use as much oil as it's been exaggerated in the reviews, it does use a sufficient amount of oil to make the food taste great. As for prices, I've seen people do nothing but complain about it, yet won't stay at home and make it themselves. Why? Because it's work. You pay for the work, service, and the quantity which is very decent. The people were very friendly. If a reviewer complains about their service, coming from a customer..the problem is with the customer. NOT the employees. Last but not least, this place is a great place for vegetarians as they do not cook with lard.

I would recommend this...

This was the worse food I ever had. I ordered breakfast a breakfast burrito with bacon, egg, potato, and cheese. The potatoes were french fries not cut up potatoes like you would think. The bacon was actual ham not slices of bacon. It was hard and old. I get the burrito home and my salsa was spoiled. I called them back and they told me they were sorry that that had never happened but yes the salsa was spoiled. I could bring it back as long as I brought back all of the food and get a refund. I explained that I live about 30 minutes away. He says well you have to bring back all the food. they had a sign in the window that said all returned refund must be accompanied by the food, all food must be returned to get a refund. I should’ve ran then. I returned the food and the spoiled salsa in a bag with the receipt and left it on their door I didn’t want my money back or the food. I just left it, but it was by far the worst place I’ve ever been the worst experience and they weren’t very nice about it. The owner or the...

We ordered our food ahead of time, when we got there ALL doors were locked, we waited outside for 5 mins until we called and we were told we had to go through the Drive Thru to pick it up. We waited in the Drive Thru line for 35 mins ( defeating the purpose of ordering ahead of time.) When we finally got to the window we asked why they couldn't just take the food to the door the girl at the window said " I don't know", she proceeded to give us our food and we told her if they can start communicating over the phone that it is Drive Thru pick up only she rolled eyes and walked away ignoring us. Very rude and unprofessional! We got home, food was COLD, had to microwave it! We weren't the only ones wondering where we had to pick up our phone order! First time going there and don't know if we'll go back! Maybe train your workers to NOT be rude and unprofessional and train them to communicate to costumers of how to pick up their orders or not have take out if you can't pick up your order inside. If I could give it a 0...

This restaurant was a solid spot and gave a heaping amount of food for the price!!! I ordered the carne asada fries and shrimp tacos expecting something small such as a regular side appetizer but to my surprise I was greeted with a huge and filling meal! Carne asada fries really hit the spot of my craving for them with thin fries and nicely seasoned meat. Shrimp tacos were tasty with huge pieces of freshly cooked shrimp, chipotle sauce, and fresh tortillas. The only thing keeping me from giving this the full five stars is that it was pretty dirty in the dining area! My whole table was sticky and the floor was quite dirty making my feet stick to the tile. Definitely a turn off to an otherwise great meal and great service. The woman at the register was kind and pointed out some of her favorites when I asked what she liked and what she could recommend. Otherwise a great spot and filling meal!!!

Cotija's burritos are HUGE! Seriously, see my picture and see the size of the burrito in comparison to the salsa cups. I would estimate it was at least 10 inches long and probably 1.5 lbs. I ordered a carne asada burrito and I liked how it was just asada, pico de gallo, and guacamole. There were no beans or rice so you get more bang for your buck, but I'm sure they would add them in if you wanted. The flour tortilla also has a slightly flaky quality, which I also liked. The only area of improvement is in the asada flavor. I thought it could use a little more seasoning because after eating half of the burrito, I couldn't really taste the asada anymore and everything just tasted like salsa & guac. But overall, it was still delicious and filling. The price is going up ($8 now) but it's still worth it! I'll have to try the carne asada fries next.

My 1st time here because my sister and her daughters kept, saying it was really good and you get a lot of food. They have daily specials which include a drink for $10.99 and up. From what I could see most are $12.99 but are well worth the price, you do get alot of food and with a drink included. I ordered the daily special that included 2 shredded beef tacos which were huge and an enchilada and drink for $12.99. Will definitely be back when in the neighborhood to try another plate. They also have combos that include beans and rice with no drink and they are also a great price. It's not the most fanciest place but their food and prices outshine that.
