What a remarkable place. First off, the ice cream is creamy and delicious, so full of flavor! My family of four each tried a different flavor and everyone loved what they had. And then there’s the owners. They were welcoming from the moment we walked in but I was blown away by their kindness. We stumbled upon this ice cream shop after trying to go to another place that had closed minutes before we got there. We are on a vacation where everything that could go wrong, is going wrong. My family suffered the unimaginable loss of my young niece this week. We chose to go on this previously planned trip in a desperate attempt to begin healing together but so far the trip has been nothing but stress. I’d told my husband earlier this evening that I was hanging on by a thread. When my husband mentioned in passing that we had suffered a recent tragedy, the owner didn’t ask for a single detail (a blessing at this time) but kindly asked if she could keep us in her prayers. We said yes, and she then gently asked if it was ok to pray with us at that moment. We gave her the ok and were met with the most kind, heartfelt words from a perfect stranger. The communication was clear, prompt and consistent leading up to the event. The crew was friendly, professional, patient, and helpful throughout the duration of the event.

I walked in for the first time wanting to try the ice cream. I am a local and have been for over 25 years. I have a small dog so I was holding him as I know that dogs are generally allowed in food places. I was immediately and promptly told that I could not have a dog in there. I wasn’t looking to sit and lounge with my dog. I was simply gonna order something quick and leave which is why I was holding him. I have done so in other local business’ with no issue.
