I've only had good experiences here until today, when I was served severely undercooked chicken. I had already eaten over half the sandwich by the time I realized it/got to the raw part. I'm not one to complain, but if I'm running the risk of getting salmonella, I at least want my $7 back.
Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, pulled up to the window and paid. The drive-thru worker said they just put some in, and to pull around to the front and wait. No problem, I wasn't in a rush. The worker came out a few mins later with my sandwich and politely apologized for the wait. No problem - I'm just hungry and happy to have a freshly-cooked sandwich.
Everything seemed fine until on one bite I noticed the texture was off, and realized the meat looked raw. I took the remainder of my sandwich, along with the receipt, back to the restaurant. The meat was so clearly raw-looking that I thought for sure I'd get my money back. Went in, showed the cashier the sandwich, politely asked for a refund. Was told that their refund policy is for the general manager to look into it. The employee then wrote my name and number on the back of my receipt. Could have at least apologized, offered to make me a new sandwich, given me a coupon for future use, or any kind of token gesture. To be fair, she had just dealt with a rude customer in front of me, so I empathized. But still a disappointing experience.
I'm not mad at the workers/cooks who are doing their best and just trying to make a living. Mistakes happen. But if a person comes back 15 mins after ordering with a receipt and food that's clearly not cooked through, the policy should be a refund on the spot, not getting the run-around. As I walked out of the restaurant, throwing the remainder of my sandwich in the trash, I overheard the employee I talked with telling a co-worker, "Yeah, it looked a little undercooked." That was putting it mildly!
Wish I thought to take a picture to upload here. If the general manager contacts me and refunds my money, I'll update my review. But I'm not holding my breath... Really just hoping I don't get a bad case of food poisoning...
Read moreHonestly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a fast food chain. We did a mobile order, arrived and walked in. I sent my husband to the front to pick up. The female just stared like she had an attitude with the world. He let her know we had a mobile order. She walks away and started to slap the food in the containers , tossed in the bag . Then threw the bags on the counter. My husband had to remind her for the drinks. So maybe a five step walk to our table and we open the bag. Everything was cold and old looking. I mistakenly order spicy nuggets instead of a regular six piece. So I bring them up to the counter and she just stares at me, gives me a rude look and goes and hides behind a wall. Her coworker was nice and let her know I was at the front. She doesn’t come at all. So he does and switched out my nuggets. While he kindly done that for my daughter. She goes and looks at the order screen. Proceeds to tell me I ordered spicy and it wasn’t wrong. I told her it was my mistake that I ordered wrong. Her coworker comes up with my nuggets.I thank him and wished him a happy day. After we tried to eat the food but ended up just throwing it all out. I walk to the front desk and asked for the lady’s name while she was leaning with her arms crossed and just kept looking away. About five employees and a manager an no one would give me a name. So I am deciding to go to cooperate for my issue. Everything about that place was just negative. Do not recommend going to this location if you’re seeking fresh food or good...
Read moreI need to Share my experience tonight at Columbia Heights Wendy's. So this Wendy's has constantly been an issue over the last 6 month. Long wait times cold food, bad customer service.
I pull up at 10:40 there's 4 other cars in front of me and 4 behind me. I order my food. The car in front of me was having conversations with the drive-through people laughing passing food back-and-forth.
I don't get to the window until 11:02 Once I get to the window. Takes them 5 minutes get my food by this time cars behind me that have already ordered have already pulled off and gave up.
Once I get me my food my food is incorrect!!! I missing a large fry. I let them know I'm missing a large fry. They tell me it's going to be a wait. I said I've already been waiting over 20 minutes just give me my money back. They tell me they will not give me my money back. Then they tell me we ARE OUT OF FRIES and offer me chicken nuggets onion rings. I tell them I don't want that I asked for my receipt they tell me that they don't have receipts AND ARE OUT OF PAPER and that I can give them my phone and they can take a picture . I tell them I'm not giving them my telephone.
I tell them this is ridiculous and horrible customer service. They then tell me that McDonald's is open and gives me $2.
