Tried this location for the first time and I think it was even better than the other location. The funnel cake fries were the same, just as delicious. The pulled pork is so tender... I think it's one of the best I've ever had. I got the bacon BLT to compare it to the other location and the bread was more crispy, which is a win for me. Honestly could be the best BLT I've ever had. The waitress suggested crispy fried green tomatoes instead of regular tomatoes for my bacon BLT and I feel like that made it better as well. There was an extra crunch in each bite. They call it a bacon BLT because they put so much bacon on it. I posted a picture showing the inside load of bacon. We also got fried pickles and they were delicious. You get spheres of fried pickles and some ranch to dip it in. For the half size you get four spheres.

The sweet barbecue sauce is more of a vinegar based barbecue. The spicy barbecue is more sweet than the other two, but it does have a spicy kick. The Carolina BBQ is a mustard based barbecue. We came on a Friday at 5:00 p.m. and they were packed but we only had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for a table. Several people walked in and out because they didn't want to wait, but I will say it was definitely worth the wait. There is less seating at this location than the other. I would choose to wait...

Trip #2 to Como Smoke South. My wife and I trek from Georgia to Columbia to visit my folks, and as a bbq aficionado, we make it a point to trek 3 hours out of our way to hit Memphis, and we used to ride out to KC each year to hit Slapz, which I still think has the best burnt ends in the country. But that has changed.

We stole a lot of time from the bartender, Josh, who kept a smile on his face the whole time and made sure we were dialed in on any and all information we asked for. Excellent service.

The smoked turkey here is insane. Best turkey I've ever had, twice. Juicy, flavorful, smokey. Perfect.

Okra is fried to perfection, again, not greasy, with an awesome sauce.

The baked beans were peppery and thick and some of the best I've had, as I'm not a huge fan of the overly sweet sugary baked beans.

The coup de gras were these Reuben Egg rolls. Not for everyone, I'm sure, but they were about the best thing I could have come to hope for as a surprise special.

Burnt ends this time were a bit fatty for my taste, with good flavor, and the brisket was a bit dry, but their little heat bbq sauce is amazing, and turned it into utter deliciousness.

Avoid the Mac, order the loaded potato salad.

BEST BBQ IN THE COUNTRY? No, but, the best I've had outside of KC, Memphis, and a few...

If you're looking for some awesome smoked meats, food, and extra, you need to try this location where Marco serves up some de-lish eats!!!

The servers here are unreal. Cam, Aubrey, Jennifer, and Maddie will always take care of you (as well as everyone else). If you want to come during some less busy hours, 2-5 is where it's at.

Be sure to check out their monthly specials, they are always switching it up. They recently got a meat slicer (way better than Subway's, and better sandwiches than Jimmy John's) and this month (August 2023) they are using it to create a club special that has smoked turkey, smoked ham, bacon, tomato, lettuce, chipotle mayo on garlic parmesean butter toasted multigrain bread.

On nice days enjoy their outdoor seating that is very dog friendly (they will happily bring your pooch fresh water and a milk bone treat ^_^ ).

They also have a full bar with local and farther selections. If you're looking for dessert they carry locally made in Millersburg Giofre's Apiary Ice Cream.

You can not go wrong anytime you step into Como Smoke...
