Tropical Liqueurs — Restaurant in Columbia Township

If you are looking an awesome frozen drink, this is the place! Drinks are really out of this world. Toasted Almond is the best one (it has ice cream), but you can’t really go wrong with any of the flavors. The Long Island packs a punch, but all the drinks are strong!

The inside has a classic college town dive bar feel, which is nice and cozy. The patio is great for sitting outside and getting some sun as you enjoy a cold and refreshing drink.

Beware: Despite what Google says, they don’t do carry-out/to-go. Signs all over the bar say this (I’m guessing they get asked this a lot). They are a bar and don’t serve meals, so they can’t. So if you’re looking for a drink to go,...

The manager was extremely rude.

My friend tried to order a drink and he told her the alcohol content was low (and didn’t let her order it). . . when I asked which drink had a moderate alcohol content, he responded “Have you looked at a menu?” This was my first time at Tropical Liqueurs, so I didn’t know there was a detailed menu (nor did he offer to show us one). I can’t comment on the quality of the drinks because the service was so poor that we just left.

He tried to brush off his rudeness and said it had just been “a long day” . . . so maybe (if you decide to try the place), try to get there early in the day before management takes their stress out...

Hands down one of Columbia's most popular places to go as an adult 21 and older.

The only bad thing is people's favorite thing to do at "Trops" is to leave, but they don't stop you. There is this 'Get N Split' attitude that you can have you're cake, and slurp it too!

Just know it's no secret, when you leave with your slushy. Their cups are distinctive and I (as well as police officers) recognize when you take your alcohol beverage into Walmart. Just because, have fun, and slurp on! All of the flavors are up to par... taste for yourself. Then...
