Spectacular!! Loved visiting the Missouri Theatre! It is definitely one of the must see locations in Columbia. The theatre is extremely beautiful--from musical instruments protruding from the walls to chandeliers, deep-red curtains, and bejeweled walls and ceiling. A definite must see!

It was such a fun experience to take my kids here! It is beautiful and makes watching a live performance all the more enjoyable. We watched an orchestra perform Peter and the Wolf for hundreds of children and had a great time. I'm looking forward to catching MU's concerts here as well.

We viewed Mike Middleton's semi-biopic, 'Only the educated are free' in the majestic, ornately beautiful Missouri Theatre.Such a privilege to witness an exemplary family legacy unfold, but also to feel the Theatre as part of the community belief in equality and freedom, for all.

I have limited experience a the Missouri Theatre as a venue I was assigned during the True/False Flim Festival in 2015.

The restoration is beautiful! As I don't live in Columbia now (I did many years ago), I am unaware of the politics surrounding the cost of the restoration and MU's involvement.

What I see is a theatre with unobstructed views from every seat, great acoustics - even when the music is a band on the stage, not a movie with sound delivered via a mixing board. I felt privileged to work at this venue of the Festival even more than others. The history is palpable, it's as if the building has a spiritual profile. Should I be lucky enough to volunteer at this venue again I will consider it an ongoing honor. It did justice to the films shown there as well as hosting parties! One may only imagine a masquerade ball from decades ago.

Like the City itself, the theatre is not just a bridge, but a link from past to...

I just wanna give a shout out to the amazing staff here. I don’t know if it was Show Security or theater staff or both but me and my mom and my friend went to the home free show last night and we were waiting in line to get inside when my friend who is in a wheelchair and has a prosthetic fell to the ground. along with other concert goers Security was able to help her up and and then we were able to enjoy the show, they managed to get us wheelchair accessible seating, and even got us extra chairs so we could sit with her and enjoy the experience What at first was a very scary night turned out to be a very good one Thank you to the staff here for being so accommodating. I will definitely attend a...

We attended a concert on a Friday evening. The problems: Parking is terrible. Mostly on street and metered (until 7 pm). Very difficult to find a spot. 2. The concessions for drinks were a mess. Very poorly organized and there was one incredibly slow line. Also, after waiting in line forever, paid $6 for the worst vodka and tonic I have ever tasted. 3. Most seats in the balcony have virtually no leg room. ( Seats on the main level appeared to have more room.) 4. Some of the acoustics were bad. We were unable to understand most of what the band members were saying as it sounded very muffled. 5. Way too warm, in balcony area anyway. ...
