First timer! Ordered online. Had a small glitch with online ordering but nevertheless it all worked out. I am super excited I found this place. I ordered the Big Rosewood and it was AMAZING! I had modified it on a panini and boom, deliciousness. Definitely will be back! Oh and it was beautiful inside! Very clean. Quiet. Staff acknowledged me quickly when I walked in. For other first timers, the restaurant is tucked away to the left when you turn in from Rosewood.

I was really looking forward to trying 5th Avenue Deli, but my experience was disappointing. The BLT was seriously lacking mayo, and the bacon was so thin it seemed microwaved rather than cooked fresh. On top of that, the broccoli cheese soup had no seasoning at all—just bland. I expected better quality for the price. Hopefully, they can step it up because the menu has potential!

We’re new to Columbia and this was our first of many trips to 5th Avenue Deli. Holy cow, it was awesome! So many sandwiches and salads from which to choose. I had The Maple Street roast beef with egg salad (sounds weird but amazing) and she had the 3 salad sampler (egg, chicken and fruit salads). She’ll judge a new restaurant based on their chicken salad and 5th Avenue Deli past her litmus test. So good! Friendly staff who all wore face shields, social distancing the tables. I love eating here! Locally owned and they treat every customer like they matter! Always a pleasurable experience throughout my whole lunch! They are always smiling and willing to help you with anything you need. Best place I have ever been to for lunch if I want great food and excellent service from some top notch people!
