Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Columbia

This is my third and final time visiting this new Chipotle location. I had hoped that with the move, the staff would be retrained or improved, particularly in customer service. Unfortunately, nothing has changed since they reopened. I usually go by after 5pm.

On each visit, I gave the benefit of the doubt, hoping for a better experience. Most recently, I used the drive-thru to avoid the poor service I previously experienced inside. When I pulled up, two employees looked at me and looked away. I waited to see how long it would take for someone to acknowledge me—no one did until I honked the horn.

At that point, a staff member opened the window and said, "Last name, please." I responded with a polite “Well, hello,” and again he just repeated, "Last name, please." I got my food and left, only to realize once I got home that the order was incomplete and the drink was wrong.

The location itself is convenient, but the customer service is consistently terrible. The kitchen often looks unclean, and the food is either over- or undercooked. Sadly, this Chipotle has officially lost me...

I got there last night at about 9:30pm and the food was clearly fresh and the staff was NOT tired. My 6 year old was indecisive and the lady behind the counter was very patient with us. Not only was she friendly, warm and welcoming but when we got home, we found out that the food had the same amount of love in it. They reminded me of why I fell in love with Chipotle. It had been years since I’ve been there but my daughter was asking for it. I got 3 bowls and the lime rice was perfect. The meat was seasoned to perfection and it was hot and juicy! The guacamole was GREEN and you could taste the freshness of the avocado, lime and tomatoes. Everything was perfect. I should have taken a picture before but oh well. You get the point. Shout out to Tonisha and the team....

Chipotle, hear me out.

This location has TREMENDOUS potential, and you are about to blow your opportunity because of poor hires and a lack of leadership.

I have been to this location a grand total of 12 times over the course of 3 months.

This is by far THE WORST Chipotle I have EVER walked into. They all have attitudes, none of the staff care what management says, and the place is ACTUALLY PRETTY DIRTY.

I have no idea where the 5-star ratings are coming from...but everyone else that is reading this please just go to the next location. This location is stale and will make you regret the trip.
