I reviewed the Forest Drive drive thru at this Chick Fil A before, and I was hoping that the dine-in experience would be an improvement. Unfortunately, this was not the case. There are several reason for my negative review of this Forest Drive CFA in Columbia, SC.
First, the time it took to get our food was unnecessarily long and the order was incorrect. We ordered our food for four, and sat in our booth in a matter of minutes. Once we got to our table, we waited for about 15 minutes to get our food. When the food arrived, my daughter was missing her apple juice and I was missing the dressing that was supposed to come with my wrap.
Asking the staff to correct this exposed the second reason for this review: inattentive and slow moving junior staff. I took my receipt to the side counter, where there were three team members moving food items with zero sense of urgency, hoping for acknowledgment. I stood there watching these team members work with their backs toward me for about two minutes before I got their attention to get me my missing items. I received an Apple juice and three ranch packets, which communicated to me that, with two FREE (heads up managers) ranch packets, they didn’t want me coming back for anything else. During either exchange with the staff, no eye contact was made, no smiles given, and I heard the least sincere “my pleasure[s].” The only team members who showed any kind of urgency and friendliness were the team leader and management. They moved quickly while completing orders and running the drive thru staff. I will not that one of them, who I assume was the manager, was on the phone laughing the entire time I was standing at the side counter. Please keep in mind: I’m not trying to sound like a jerk, but I love CFA, and I always expect the kind of service that distinguishes them from their competitors who don’t share their core values.
Finally, the cleanliness of the bathrooms was shockingly below standards. My pregnant wife describes what sounded like a gas station bathroom after she used the facilities. Paper on the floor, urine on and around the toilet, and dirty mirrors and floors is what she described.
Again, I care about this company and I expect the kind of service that the company boasts. Rooting...

(Justina) Was the female employee that was absolutely disrespectful, and showed 0-interest in ensuring that customers would have a great experience coming to the restaurant. I can understand that someone might be having a bad day but that doesn't mean you should project that negative behavior on someone else by being disrespectful. If that's not the case and you just don't appreciate working there then quit. I'm sure there are a lot more people in the world who would love to have your job and who would be more grateful of the opportunity to work for such a great company. Second after the disrespect at the drive-thru (ordering) I proceeded to get negative attitude from the manager/shift leader/whatever when I made it to the drive-thru window. I was trying to explain him that his employee that took my order had rung my order incorrectly. After receiving my order which he didn't even correct, I kindly asked if I could get my receipt. Again with the utmost disrespect made it seem like it was such a chore to print off my receipt. After receiving my so called receipt I looked at it only to find out he just printed off a random receipt. I immediately parked my truck at the closest parking spot, got out and made my way into the restaurant. I politely told the manager that he had given me the wrong receipt. He had the nerve to say I was disrespectful for sliding the receipt across the counter closer to him so that he could reach it. (In my mind I was thinking 🤔 disrespectful would've been me crumbling the receipt and throwing it at him) I responded instead saying "sit, you gave me the wrong receipt, and you were being disrespectful to me at the window." He was silent, printed off my actual receipt and thanked me for stopping by. I walked out and said nothing. I will definitely not go back to this location and I can't believe that there are people in that type of position managing that type of establishments. Completely unacceptable, and something should definitely be done about these individuals...
Read moreWaited in line for chic fil a breakfast. I got in line at 10:17, the gentleman in front of us took almost 8 minutes to order, not a big deal. I pulled up to the speaker at 10:31 TOPS. We ordered three 4 count chicken minis and the woman says they had already stopped serving breakfast. It Blew my mind, it was literally ONE minute past 10:30 and I had been waiting in line before the cut off. Also side note, I clearly heard the girl tell the gentleman in front of me that they were still serving breakfast. Obviously upset, I tell the woman that I had been waiting in line since before the time they stopped serving and she assures me that they still have the minis out so she will “see what she can do”. Another woman came on the speaker, with attitude, and told us they were done serving breakfast and that next time we should mobile order if we want to get the breakfast on time. Now hear me out, if it was 10:35 or later I would have understood where they were coming from. We could just feel that they did not care that we were upset. She just kept repeatedly saying “sorry”. I have been to many chic fil a’s where they have served me breakfast at least 5 minutes after the cut off. I wasn’t looking for special treatment by any means, I am just baffled because on our day off we decided to get chic breakfast only to be dissatisfied with their customer service and rules.
Chic fil A is known for their customer service and I feel like this chic fil a does not represent the company in the way...
