Forest Buffet — Restaurant in Columbia

The food here is pretty good, some things better than others. They seemed to be refreshing it the whole time we were there which was much appreciated. They do have the hibachi where they’ll cook what you pick though we didn’t use this. They have a good selection of sushi. They’re obviously related to Blossom Buffet which is our usual go-to. They have the same set up and a lot of the same food even though less choices.They are cheaper at $21 a person drink included. You pay before you eat which I think is nice. I've been to quite a few Asian Buffets in my 40 years, this one is definitely at or near the top!

The only initial complaint I had was paying dinner prices at noon on Saturday. Even with military discount, it's was about $90 with tax and before tip! Making it The MOST Expensive buffet I've ever been to!

However, this place is new, or newer, and even has large spacious restrooms.

The Sushi bar has many great looking and tasting options and the hibachi counter as well.

I didn't come across one tray that was stale or looked unappealing.

I think you get what you pay for. But, I generally want to pay less to feed my kids.

The server was great... the forced tipping was not only bad customer service bc there were only 5 of us (our 2 kids, husband and I, and my Mom. Full disclosure I am wondering if is bc she is in a wheelchair, thus forcing us into a 6 top due to a lack of ADA seating for 5) The real culprit for my leaving a mediocre review is the food.
