I ate here almost every day for 6 weeks. At the end of 6 weeks I lost 22 pounds and my blood pressure dropped from an average of 130/85 to 118/72 by just eating this food.
My wife is a diabetic and normally has to take insulin shots 3 times a day. But when she eats here, she only has to take 1/5 the insulin she normally takes eating elsewhere.
The food here doesn't have all the sodium, sugar, fat and grease that other restaurants have plus its 2/3 lower in calories.
I know this place is different but give it a fair shot and stick to it for at least a week and you will start losing weight and your blood sugar/pressure will get better too.
Start paying attention to the nutrition information at other restaurants and you will see that we are being killed by our food.
Clean eatz has opened my eyes to how bad the food is that we're consuming everyday.
Fresh food is important because it doesn't have all the sodium that chain restaurant food has. Sodium is used as a preservative to keep the chains food fresh while its riding around in 18 wheelers. There are lots of restaurants that offer low calorie options but if you look closely these meals have lots of sodium.
Too much sodium is causing your high blood pressure and eating too many calories is making you fat.
Clean eatz makes it simple to lose weight because everything on the menu is healthy. You don't have to search through the menu for healthier options because they're all healthy. And you don't have to go to the trouble of counting carbs or calories either because the portion sizes will keep you from eating more than 2000 calories per day.
When you dine here you will notice the drink choices are much different than most places. They do not offer soft drinks. This is good because soft drinks are what's causing your acid reflux and making you fat too.
The foods you're eating are what's causing you to have high blood pressure, clogged artieries, high blood sugar and to be overweight.
The major restaurant chains are trying to produce the absolute best tasting food they can because they know that good taste will bring you back. And when you come back they make more $$$. But great tasting food is often really bad for you. These corporations are driven by profit and they don't care what their food does to your health.
Again give this place a fair chance and you will be a much healthier hombre and your body will thank you...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible customer service. From the time the order is placed. I believe the Manager is also the cook, works the register, and is on the ignore the issue staff. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and someone ordered after me. Well that person received my order, left the store, came back in and told them she had the order. So the cashier proceeds to give her her correct order and hands me the bag that the lady clearly drove off with. Soooooooooooo sanitary common sense wouldn't tell you I am not eating a whole meal that left the store in the car with someone else. So after waiting 35 min for my original order (and we were the only 2 people in the restaurant) I waited another 30 minutes missing my class I was on the way to. I asked for the manager and she comes off the grill and says sorry and walked back off. At this point I am super pissed but calm in demeanor. I asked for her to come back and I said "time is money and I have wasted a lot of my time in the least I expect a refund" She offered me a bag of baked protein cookies...crickets chirp...insulting as well as I stated all of those products have nuts and I am allergic. She said "I don't know what to tell you then". And waked off again. Moral of the story its far too many new healthy places to eat and too many independent people who offer more healthier less expensive meal plans that even deliver to you. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST unless you want your money and time wasted by rude...
Read moreThis is one of the worst places I've eaten from. The expectations (hence the name - "Clean Eatz") would be at minimum, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, healthy food preparation and plenty of veggie options. This ranks 0/5 for all 3.
WHAT WE GOT: I got the black bean burger with sweet potato fried My husband got the veggie wrap with a side of raw mixed veggies.
THE MENU/FOOD: They may be able to fool a few, but as someone who eats and prepares vegan/raw vegan/healthy food, they do not fool me. The veggie burger was only 1 of 2 of the no-meat options. I am not saying that they should be 100% vegan, however a place offering clean food would have more fresh options. The burger bun was a typical fast-food bun packed with chemicals. The sweet potato fried tasted odd, the were cold and bland. Ketchup did not save them.
FOOD PREPARATION: So this place is a 50/50 restaurant and food prep. As I waited the 20 minutes for my food, I explored the seemingly hundreds of frozen food they had lined in their freezers. I'm sorry - but the meals were not a lot of food and included very few (maybe only 1) no meat option. Again, at least having more fresh food, plant options is what people often go for when thinking "clean".
BOTTOM LINE: Please save your time and enjoy other delicious options of...
