American Deli — Restaurant in Columbia

Called 2-3 times while sitting in Navy Federal handling business. No one answered the phone and it said “the # you called is not available, please call back”. Stomach was doing back flips so decided to still go — when I arrived the front counter worker was leaning on the counter on his cell phone. I asked does the store number not work? He said it should. Confirmed we called the correct number. MAGICALLY when we called when we were in the store, the phone worked 🙄🙄🙄 only other explanation is the phone was turned off or they were ignoring calls.

Food was prepared fairly quick which is why I still have 3 stars — but don’t have a store phone if it will be off...

I’ve ordered from here a few times now. Staff are helpful and ordering is easy. Most of my orders have been fine with minimal complaints. This last time was a disappointment though. My sub was not made to order and I was missing 2 wings. I asked for no mustard and no onions and got both. It’s hard to return for a remake or to make a complaint when you are on a time limit for lunch so I was not able to get any mistakes corrected. Next time I’ll be sure to check the food harder when they show it to you when...

Ordered the club sandwich with 5 wings combo and ask for no mayo and tomatoes add honeymustard, well it came with both. So I let them know immediately and the guy looks at it and tells the guy who made it the problem he with gloves takes the tomatoes off one side and leaves the mayo and tomatoes on the other side and smiles as if it's ok. I again tell him it's still not right and he takes it back and remakes it with an attitude. At this point I'm not having it so I took my food and left unhappy....
