Describe my experience it says here, now...a little back drop. I am a general manager of a restaurant myself so I am more lenient when I post on restaurants cause I can understand, have more patience and have empathy for those in the service industry. So here goes my experience today, I walked in the Bar side, asked if this was the correct area to place a To-go order, nice young lady said yes, I asked about how long you running today? She said it'll be about 20 minutes ( in my head I always add 10 minutes). So after being in my car for about 15 minutes I come inside and wait additional 20 mins, at this point the young lady came to me and said it'll just be another minute, then she disappears. I approached a waitress and asked if she could check on my order the bartender has ::poofed:: I was advised I wasn't able to be helped due to not having her codes. Weird but ok...immediately flowing this another young lady said are you trying to cash out i said sure, she came back with receipt and said have a good day...whoa...can I get my food please, she said oh you didn't get it?! She looked at my receipt and went in the back, I was apologized too and was told bartender is also Managing today and very busy. Meanwhile a fine gentleman advised " we really need to quit being short handed on Saturdays ". Interesting I thought....the plot thickens.....I had to use the restroom and when I came out my food was ready. So a lot to unpack here with my 1st experience here. I'm not entirely happy with the chase down my food 25 minutes after the 10 minutes I added on to the wait time I was given. Also, sounds like this isn't a 1 off experience I had. Seems like others go through this same experience. My main goal as a General Manager is to provide a PREMIER experience to every guest. I even let them know if we are running a tad behind, you never know what guests have planned for the day. Waiting 30 minutes was okay...almost an hour...totally different. My plans had to be altered. My point is being short staffed is nolonger a valid excuse for management. You can't control who shows up for work but you can control everything else. Your food is absolutely amazing 👏. What I ordered today was made perfectly. I enjoyed it very much. Please work on communicating to guests regarding their order and not " it'll be just a moment " then disappear for a...
Read moreI am shocked by the terrible service and lack of ownership during my dining experience. I called at 11:45 am to place a lunch order. The server was unprofessional, didn’t know how to find things on the computer, nor knew what was on a loaded backed potato(1st red flag) I was told food would be ready at 12:15. I arrive at 12:12 and I am told my food will be another 15-20 mins. At 12:40 I finally am told that my entire food order was given away…. And asked if I can wait while they remake it. I tell them I can’t I have a meeting at 1 and have 2 other team members waiting for food. The manager then asks how far away I am from the office (4 mins) and she offers to deliver it herself. I am super grateful and leave to get back to my meeting. I have my meeting at 1 get out of it around 1:30 expecting food to be there. Ha. I then have to call BACK up there. I am told by someone that they have already left on a delivery. 1:45 rolls around remember we are only 4 mins away from this place and I get a call saying someone (not the manager) is on the way.. another 5 mins and the person calls again and says “hey I’m here, you can come outside and get your food” it’s a small one person office. Its not that hard to give some customer service and bring it in. She was really rude. Finally 2 hours later we get our food. It’s ice cold. Probably been sitting under the lamp for the past two hours or in the back of this ladies car. I call the restaurant back again, and speak to the manager who promises to call me back to ensure my refund is completed to my card (they at first offered me a gift card, at this point I’m livid and don’t want anything but my money back). The manager then states she has no idea how to refund and will give me a call back to update me tonight. Want to guess if I have received a call back!?
Your team needs training in common sense, customer service and your systems....
Read moreMy 1st experience was at the legends in Murfreesboro. It was absolutely great!!! So I wanted my family to experience, so we went to the one in Columbia. Definitely not the same experience. The waiter was nice, the rolls were delicious. However I ordered the half rack of ribs which took forever to come out. My daughters received their food and were half way finished before the manager came over to see why I did not have my food. He then attempted to rectify the issue. It was a short while later that I received the ribs, dry and over cooked. Of course by this time my family is finished eating and ready to leave. Tim was very apologetic however that certainly did not resonate with my empty stomach as I had eaten all day. He first offered to have another rack cooked correctly however, I was in no mood to spend another two hours sitting there as we needed to get on the road. He then decided that he would comp the meal as if that wasn't the correct thing to do in the first place. Secretly my main reason for stopping there was the caramel pie. Which Tim did comp and it was not even prepared properly, no whipped cream just plain. Honestly it was a total waste of time to stop there, well maybe not exactly, my daughters did enjoy the fruit tea. Although Tim was apologetic due to the time we had spent there and the inconvenience, it would have behoove him to comp the meal and ensure I had the correct cooked half rack to ensure we'd return to the establishment. So I was pretty torn on the stars to give, but I'm certain we would not be interested in returning to this location. I would certainly return to the location in Murfreesboro for sure. It is a nice looking establishment in Columbia TN though I must say but no thank you for...
