This is the worst McDonalds. The employees are the worst. Here is my most recent experience at this location: went through the drive thru on saturday night around 11pm. ordered a filet o fish meal with a large sprite. I was the only car in the drive thru line and i waited close to 30 mins. The incompetent employee i was dealing with is named Kenny. He handed me my bag and a large drink. I immediately realized before leaving the drive thru that the drink was not a sprite so i told him and he exchanged it for the sprite i ordered. I thought all was good but i made the mistake of not looking in my bag until i got home. I arrived home 15 mins later and sat down to eat my meal. I open my bag and all that was present is a small order of fries. I call mcdonalds and spoke to Kenny. He says as soon as i pulled out of the drive thru he realized he had not put my fish sandwich in the bag. He stated he would write my name in a book and next time i was in they would take care of it. I informed him i would be in the next day. The next day at 11am i go in. Now I'm at the front of the line with people behind me and its been 15 mins and employees have noticed the line but not one employee has come to the front counter. Meanwhile 4 employees are standing around talking where the fries are being made. Finally 18 mins of waiting and an employee comes to the counter and I tell her about my situation. She goes to get a manager. The female manager comes to the counter i re-explain my situation and she pulls out the binder and looks for my name that Kenny had taken when i spoke with him the night before on the phone. To no surprise my name was not in the binder. Further more she tells me Kenny is not on the day shift and she cant take care of my problem because she was the dayshift manager and i had ordered my meal at night. She told me i would need to come back after 8pm to talk to Kenny. Its clear this situation will not be resolved. i paid for something which i did not receive and my time was wasted dealing with this issue which was never corrected. When going in as a driver, the staff gives a VERY LOW priority to checking with the drivers to see what orders they have even when the order rack is FILLED with orders waiting to be picked up! So it's not uncommon to have to wait 5-10 minutes just to be acknowledged by the staff and check your order numbers, and then they often won't call out every bag number or check with each person. New drivers are constantly coming in and the staff will not call out all the numbers or do regular checks so it causes long delays and hassles for everyone. It's not uncommon for drivers to walk out and unassign orders as well as orders that don't show up in the system or were picked up by someone else and then you've wasted a lot of time. Some of the staff can be irritable when trying to get their attention, even with a FULL RACK OF READY ORDERS that are sitting there getting cold. Store can close early or change hours unexpectedly without notice. Store is also FILTHY AND SMELLY in the evening, with trash and food all over the floor behind the counter. The odor in this store is strong and smells like a combination of grease, urine and vomit (not kidding). The interior has heavy wear and the seat cushions look like a gang took switchblades to them about 30 years ago. If there was a store that was a candidate for a corporate review and overhaul, this one is it. Customers are getting cold food and long order times & I'm really curious as to exactly what is producing that noxious smell. I tried to do a mobile order with curbside as it is faster at the other McDonald’s on the other side of town. only to have to wait 20 minutes before not the an employee came out with my drink, that’s when the cashier lady noticed me and said “we don’t do mocha frappes here, we don’t have a machine for that but I can get you a mocha, it’s not frozen but it’s the same thing” it costs less for one thing so I get scammed by doing that and then the real question.
why can I order it at your location on the mobile app?!?! And why did you make me wait. do you expect your customers to know this when ordering on the app??
I’ve been to a McDonald’s elsewhere in town and even outside of town and the app does restrict things you can’t get at that location for them? So why not here. And making me wait 20 minutes before no one but the cashier who is working inside to have to be the one to tell me this. (Even when I could clearly see employees able to come out to give curbside there order before mine when I arrived. So they.clearly have the staff.) it’s Outrageous. if your using the mobile app here I’d recommend going inside rather than going to curbside because then you can ask them yourself and not be in the situation I was in. And as for that cashier, she should get a raise for taking note of a customer in curbside, she would be the reason this post even gets a single star rating, and gave me cash back. 0 stars to the location- 1...
