First time i went the straws were totally out by the drink machines and no one working there seemed to know that. Second time i went, was going to get sweet tea, but the top was not on the sweet tea, its just sitting there, open to whatever might fall in it by accident or if someone was standing over it coughing. I don't know how long its been sitting there like that. I tell one of the workers there that its sitting there with no top on it. He says, "oh, they probably just made some more and put in the container." I say,"well maybe so, but dont you think it needs a top on it"? He goes and get the top, come back over where the drinks are and just puts it up there and walk off to go back and continue his conversation with a couple of female customers who were friends of his. I walk back over to the teas. The top he just put on was just thrown on there, it wasnt even straight on top of the sweet tea. I look at the top on the unsweetened tea, its crooked too. Needless to say i didn't get either tea, got coke instead. The blatant unconcerned for how your place of employment looks and the nonchalant attitude about HOW things look or how they are done, keeping supplies stocked, attending ALL customers needs and not just your friends needs or wants, is at a high in several fast food businesses around here. So WHAT kind of people are the Managers if this is getting to be the norm at fast food chains? Are the employees getting any training? Do they have weekly or monthly meetings to discuss whats expected of them and for them to express their needs and concerns? I'm beginning...
Read moreStood in line inside for 23 minutes while the employees gathered together a doordash order. A woman from doordash had to keep telling them what was in the order as they could not seem to get it all together. No one asked me during that time period if I had ordered. Finally after they finished with the doordash order, a young lady asked me had I ordered and when I walked forward she said no you have to use the kiosk over there so I took my mask off and I told her I was paying with cash not a card. She informed me with a little attitude that I still had to order on the kiosk. I walked over to the kiosk placed my order and it said it was going to print out a ticket. No ticket came out. She called me over the front I informed her that I didn't have a ticket and with that same attitude, that I didn't appreciate, informed me that she had printed a ticket. I paid for the food that I had ordered at the kiosk and then waited another 10 minutes for my food. The man handed me my food and walked away. I tried to inform him that I had a drink in my order he says oh yeah they'll get it. 5 minutes later here comes the same little snippy girl with my drink. So a grand total of 37 minutes later I wind up with a four for four. Everyone inside the McDonald's in Columbia Mississippi was far more concerned with the drive-thru than anyone who walked into...
Read moreWhat is really going on at this McDonald's... I have worked fast food before so I totally get how it can be but OMG I waited over 30 minutes for my "fast food" the last 3 times I went there. Today I made mobile order at 10:17 someone came out at 10:33 without one of the drinks. Waited until 10:45 then went in to get it myself. Had to wait at counter for a few minutes before I finally saw the girl who forgot what was going on standing around and had to yell over the massive line to get her attention finally was able to leave at 10:50 and my iced coffee i waited so long for tasted horrible like they didnt add the French vanilla part of it :/. I could have been in and out our local Mexican restaurant faster than the time this mcmuffin meal cost me... Every costumer inside was frustrated as well. The woman behind the counter looked like she was having a breakdown. This place needs some serious management changes. I try to drive to tylertown if I know I will be going to McDonald's but dang I wish we could just depend on Columbia...
