Where do I begin with the Starbucks? My friends' most recent fiasco involved the baristas arguing over who would make the Witch's Brew because no one wanted to make it, so the 12 people behind her got their drinks first. Also she ordered a tall, however was charged for and received a grande. While that's not awful, it was just that the barista only had instructions for how to make a grande.
This was not, and probably not be, the only issues. I have received iced tea instead of coffee, been 40 minutes late to a class for a bagel. (Mind you, orders were being filled relatively quickly. They just forgot my order completely.) I have received a flat lid on top of whipped cream, causing it to gush out of the straw hole when touched and when asked for a dome lid I received attitude. "What do you expect me to do?" This was after watching the barista put a dome lid on the drink then decide that it needed a flat lid.
This Starbucks is an absolute disgrace, also blenders in a library? Why would you do that? The lines are awful and it causes so much noise to a library....

Why does this Starbucks fill their Tall cups only halfway? It’s like they’re playing a game of “Guess the Remaining Space.” As a customer, I’d love a little more clarity on this. Perhaps a “Fill to Here” line on the cup?
Now, this one baffles me. Why doesn’t this Starbucks participate in their rewards program? It’s like they’re saying, “Enjoy your coffee, but don’t expect any perks.” 🤷♀️
If you’re a rewards enthusiast, consider exploring other nearby locations that actively embrace...
Read moreThis is a full Starbucks located in the back left corner of Thomas Cooper Library. It is one of the few Starbucks in the area open until midnight on weekdays; however, only university students and staff have access to the library after 9pm. It is consistently busy, but the wait is always surprisingly quick as they are well staffed.
This Starbucks creates a tremendous amount of noise on the the main floor of the library. I understand this is not a quiet floor, but the roaring of the blenders detracts from the library environment. This could easily be fixed by building a glass enclosure around the Starbucks, and it would...
