Made 5pm reservations for 3. Was here for the Pink concert. Ok, first, the positive. The ambiance was cool, blackout curtains, well appointed tables, etc. The meatball appetizer was fire and the burrata & honey app was also good. Now for the not so good. They open at 5 so we waited outside because it was about 4:50. At that point, a server came out and invited us in. He asked if we had a reservation and confirmed we did, all good. About 2 minutes after we sat down he came over and asked if he could take our order. We had never been to this restaurant before, but we quickly picked out two starters which I told the server. He then said, “can you give me your entire order because we’re going to be busy tonight.” I told him we had not even looked at the entrées yet. I asked if he can just start the apps, he said yes. He came back again, two or three minutes later and said OK let me take your order entrees, he was particularly pushy and definitely rushing us. I looked at my watch and it was exactly 5:06 PM. So I turned to him and said, we had a 5 o’clock reservation and it’s now 5:06 PM, we are literally six minutes into our reservation and I feel like you’re pushing us out the door and I don’t appreciate it. He then backed off but it just left a bad taste of my mouth for this establishment. We ordered two of the pizzas the margarita and the pesto pizza. They were terrible, I mean the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. And they weren’t pizza, they were flatbread , not made on site for sure, very soggy and expensive. I would never go back here, but, if you do, get the meatball appetizer, but under no circumstances order pizza at this...

This used to b a five star review. Until tonight I would have told you Madrigal was easily one of my top five restaurants in Columbia. We've been probably a half dozen times in the last year, and it was always an amazing experience with terrific food, including probably the best pizza I've ever had. Until tonight.

Tonight they burnt the pizza I ordered. There was no not-black crust, top, bottom, anywhere. It was tough to eat it was so overcooked. When I told them, they took it back, then came back and the owner/manager woman told me it wasn't burnt and that I should go to Pizza Hut instead. Then the waiter brought our check, which had been voided out entirely. I asked him what her problem was, and he told me I was not welcome there, that I made problems, and that if I didn't immediately leave we would be trespassed.

I've never sent back food there before, and honestly I'm not the type to send food back unless it's really, really bad. I actually apologized to them when I told them it was burnt, which I now really regret.

I've never been treated so rudely in any...

We went here thinking it would be a casual cafe style restaurant based on the descriptions, but it was clearly more of a dim light fine dining place. Food and service were good, but definitely not what we had expected going in.

Update: I took a few screenshots of your Google Maps page. I recommend that the owner who responded review their page on Google Maps and update it. It continues to share information based on outdated reviews that refer to a very different style of restaurant. Some of the menu pictures on your page are also outdated with older menus that show more vegetarian options that are no longer offered on your current menu. If the information is updated on Google Maps, I will happily change my review (which honestly isn't even that bad), but as it stands, your Google Maps page and the about info are very misleading, regardless of whether your website is...

Stepping into Madrigal was like being transported back to the olde world—a charming experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience. The dishes were nothing short of extraordinary. Each plate was crafted with care, using only the finest ingredients, and you could taste the love and passion infused into every bite. The burrata and honey with pistachio transported me back to Italy. The gratin de poulet had one of the best, layered, and unique flavor profiles I’ve ever had. The homemade cheesecake and Turkish coffee was an exclamation point on a perfect meal. The service was impeccable. Attentive but never rushed. Overall, dining at Madrigal was like stepping back in time to an era where food was art and hospitality was a craft. If you’re looking for a meal that transcends the ordinary, I can’t recommend this gem enough.
