Tokyo Grill — Restaurant in Columbia

Update called management and never got a return call.. heed advice and dont waste your hard earned cash here..

Placed my order at 5:35 online, it said would be ready by 5:50. Got there 6 pm waited in line, upon reaching the counter she didn't even acknowledge me i had to greet her prior to even her saying a word to me... let her know I placed an order online and my name,I was told I had to wait for them to clear the store before they could make my food. I asked how long she stated 10 min. I waited store cleared so I asked how long before my order ready... 5 min.... once I waited 5 min I walked over they had the order. Asked them them what the difference was for call in vs paid online order and even going as far as a tip. No answer. I told her I have waited 20 min on top of the supposed time my food was ready and I placed it online because I have groceries in my car. Well you can order next time and choose a time i said ma' my order should have been ready per the site 30 MINUTES AGO. what difference would it make if I specified a time? Will...

I am not a person that writes reviews but I felt someone higher up the chain needed to here this. I work in West Columbia and would eat at the Augusta rd location on a weekly basis, although the people were nice the food was always cold and just did not taste good. So I wrote this off as Tokyo Grill just isn't what it used to be and the whole office here will no longer eat it. It wasn't until I had to go to Bush River on my break and saw they had another location beside Walmart that my co workers convinced me to give it a try. I was completely blown away the food was steaming when I got it and the Sushi was amazing. The office will now eat Tokyo again, we just make sure we go to Bush River. I talked to Toya there just to let her know how much better her store was than any other location I have been to but I want someone higher up to let her know as well. I have been to this Tokyo Grill multiple times, and the service has always been subpar. However, tonight was far worse. I will not be returning in the future. I ordered the food at 6:45pm. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:20pm. When I walked in, I waited in line until I reached the counter where the cashier looked at me once and told me to "hold on." After waiting at the counter for quite a while, she asked me the name of my order, which should have been ready at 7:15pm according to their website. In the end, I waited until 7:45pm, just standing in the restaurant without acknowledgement. I then asked for a refund and was simply told that I had to cancel the order myself on the website. At no point was I given anything close...
