Came here on 09/01 at 9:30 pm. My order came to $27.14, the cashier ran my card for the amount. It went through on my end, however, the cashier stated the transaction was cancelled. She had given us our food, no drinks, but she ran my card for the remaining $6.45 I had left on my account. I explained it had gone through on my end already. She then called someone else over, who said we needed to pay the remainder of the $27.14 that we had already paid? I asked if there's anyone I could contact in case the first payment did go through and get my money back. He ignored my question, said I can show him my money went through all day long, but I still needed to pay the remainder. Told us to pull to the front until we figured it out. We took our $33.59 food without ANY drinks, and went home. I contacted customer support, but all I got was a simple "sorry". I fully understand that this whole thing could've been the computer's fault, however, I feel I was treated poorly, and nobody has cared to help my situation.
Hi, my partner visited this location again on 09/20/24 at 1:40 am. He gave the coupons from the previous issue to be redeemed, one for a full meal and another for a shake. He ordered 2 full meals, 1 with a shake and 1 with a fountain drink. The lady at the window was the same one who charged our card twice last time. Mckenzie made a snarky remark such as "is this card going to cover it all this time?" And swiped his card for full price $18.68, even though she had taken the coupons, but had not applied them. now this is twice we have been overcharged for our orders. Can we please just get our money back?? I wish to no longer deal with this restaurant chain if this is how customers are allowed to be treated. I gave the girl some grace the first time in hopes that maybe it was just the machine, but now it seems she is doing it on purpose. Please just let us have our money back. I hope no one else has had to deal with something like this. I've added photos from the first time when we were charged twice, and the receipt from last night.
Edit 2: I'm just now seeing more reviews about this particular cashier, and I'm sorry but with how many times she has swiped people's cards more than once, how does she still work here?! Proof that cookout does not care about their customers, and I get it, it's just another fast food chain. But the fact that you still have the same person without fixing her attitude or work ethic truly amazes me. It's just another big coorporation that does not care. I hope ya'll have a better day than...
Read moreWorst experience ever! Person taking order wasn’t listening (so my order was incorrect) and every time I stopped talking to correct her or tell her the next item she would say “Dat it?” I asked for a item and was told to “hang on for sec” three minutes later she came back and said “welcome to cook out can I take your order” (should have dove off then). I told her that I wasn’t finished ordering. I tried repeating what I had ordered but was interrupted with “ got dat already, dat it?” Once I got to the window the employee gave me the food. I inspected it and told her it was wrong and instead of asking how she could fix it she tried giving me the next persons order because “it’s got nuggets in it” which was only one of the things they messed up, but had stuff I didn’t order or want…
I know it’s hard to find good employees right now but TRAIN them. NEVER should they say “is that it?” It should be “can I get you anything else” because that lets the customer think they might be forgetting something, possibly getting an extra sale, and allows them to finalize the order instead of feeling forced to stop by an employee that’s to lazy to push buttons on a computer.
Also if the dining area is closed to the public you should have signs stating it (probably big ones you can see from your car) and you should NOT let employees sit and eat there. It gives the illusion that it is open. If the doors were open I would have gone inside and got things fixed and there would not be this...
Read moreVery unprofessional workers who do not care about their job. I went to the Cookout located on Bush River Road on July 4, 2024 around 8:49 p.m. The young lady was taking my order in the drive-thru and I was telling her my order for three cookout trays. She all of sudden stopped in the middle of the order and did not complete it. I drove up to the window to see if they got my order. The young lady at the window claimed she had just got back there from the restroom. She told me I would have to go back through the drive-thru again. I already was in the line for 10 minutes. I told her she was very unprofessional and that I refuse to go back through the drive-thru and wait in the line again. I left and will not be going back to that particular Cookout. They are very rude and unprofessional. I also called Cookout headquarters to report them for having bad customer service and being very unprofessional. The headquarters gave me the number to call the manager at that location, in which the manager do not answer their phone. My advice stay away from...
