Booked our 2 night stay through Priceline 5/30-5/31/2023. Front desk attendant, Jack, was extremely rude and aggressive with several guests in front of us. My husband told Jack that we had a reservation, Jack said we would need to pay an additional $20 fee for our 6 year old son. He the asked for documentation for our service dog, my husband informed him of our rights to have the dog accompany us and that Jack is not privy to our personal medical records. Jack then told my husband that he would not let him check in because he was on a DNR (do not rent) list and we would need to call Priceline. Priceline spoke to the front desk agent directly and he said that he put my husband on the DNR list became he damaged property, which is an horrible accusation and absolutely false. And now no refund because of this. Wyndham is a well known and respected brand so we trusted it. I have called corporate 10-15 times to express my concern about this property and employee. I either get no answer when dialing the customer service extension or I dial a different extension and told I will be put through and then disconnected. I expect more from such a reputable brand and hope no one else has their name branded and hard earned money taken. Horrible experience and will not trust Wyndham properties to stand by their brand or...
Read moreDon't judge this book by its cover!!! We spent our wedding anniversary weekend at this hotel. The outside makes it look like an almost abandoned hotel, but the inside shows the hotel is being renovated. We were very surprised to see how nice the hotel office and the room is. We had a king suite, Room 211. The room was really nice! Our only issue was the sheets needed to be changed. The lady that checked us in was AWESOME!! Im so sorry I cant remember her name but she was a very nice lady. She immediately replaced our sheets and sincerely apologized. Im guessing that this hotel may have had a seedy past, but I think they have cleaned it up a lot. One thing we also didn't like is the super bright lights that come on at night. It would not have been so bad if the lights in the parking lot were the only ones to come on, but the lights on the balconies come on as well. While the balconies are nice to sit on at night time, the fact that you cant cut the balcony light off sucks. That light is stupid bright. But all in all we like this hotel. The renovations are coming along nicely!! We will definitely stay here again :-) There are some really nice places around this hotel. We went to 2 malls, a flea market, & the zoo. All of these locations are about 10 mins from...
Read morehonestly I was not aware of how beautifully renovated the rooms are until I went to visit a friend and I immediately fell in love and decided if I ever needed to stay in a hotel this price point plus the room is like I have to try it. I recently came back home and of course I stayed here for about a week I had no problem booking. I wanted definitely a upscale experience but of course I needed to save money and this place did not let me down literally it's like for example like a Baymont or even Hilton but the price point is cut in half as well as deposit.also it has more amenities in-room being that the rooms are set up as suites with large refrigerators as well as new flat top stoves and about three to four sets of towels and washcloths. Also I love the fact that it is indoor with each room having a balcony or at least the option to get a balcony in most of the rooms. and as far as availability I had no problem booking or going to the front desk and ask them to allow me to stay over. Based on the area as far as the side of town as well as the whole city this is one of the better hotels. Honestly I don't think it gets any better than this for...
