14 years in business and you all can buy some fans and mount them in the building. been to several hundred shows all over the country and drive 10 hours to stand in a sauna. extremely disappointed. There is no reason you all can get some airflow in your establishment. EVERYONE around me is complaining about how hot it is in here. Whoever owns or manages this establishment should be ashamed. This is rediculous. The place was Dirty and Nasty.
we drove 10 hours to see the show tonight. I have managed bars in a College town in Columbia MO and have never in my life seen so many upset customers in my life do to the lack of airflow in this establishment. Everyone around us was complaining about the heat along with the main performer of the event. I went to the door and asked to speak to who was in charge and the people at the counter told me the owner wad there for 20 mins and left and that they didnt work there and the bar manager probably couldn't come address my issue because she was to busy serving drinks at the bar. I waited at the bar for over 20 mins for a drink twice as they let many customers stand along the bar and not let people get to the bar so they could serve drinks and make the bar money. Poor business diecision but its not my bar not my rules. I have been to several hundred venues across America and this one is by far the WORST experience I have EVER encountered in my life. Looks like you all have been opened 13 plus years and can't figure out how to move air and keep your customers happy. Extremely unprofessional from the minute I walked...
Read moreCame here to see Rosecoloredworld, and gotta say, the entire venue, in general, pulled off a great show. Staff is really informative about the event and all the commodities. The front desk usually checks your ID as usual to verify, due to the bar. The whole place can possibly fit up to 100 people. The stage for performers is located on the right side as you walk in through the front door and front desk and bar are on the left side. The back area consists a patio and lounge, through stairway, for the staff and/or performers. For my event, there was a water stand with unlimited access to cups and water between the bar and stairway, so there’s plenty for the minors or adults. Restrooms are on the opposite side of the water stand. Lastly, there’s a policy for no re-entry so I advise everyone in the future to only bring what you need for the event such as merch and leave water / drinks in the car. I also advise everyone to eat before attending the venue and plan on buying merch (if any) after the show. Ace of Cups also has their own parking lot adjoined with the BBQ spot next door, so there’s plenty of free parking for all. All in all, I love this hot spot and would reconsider coming back here for...
Read moreThis place is my favorite place to see local acts or bands on tour! I've been going to see shows for about two years now and I've never had a negative experience here, it's a safe location and people are always respectful and chill. Bar staff is always on it and serves drinks quickly, pretty fairly priced I think. Inside is cool also, they have an upstairs with some seating, and a patio out back for smoking and what not. Also I feel like it's fair to mention they have a wand to check everyone and last time I forgot I had a knife in my pocket, security person was cool about it and held onto it for me at the front desk and I got it back at the end of the show when I was leaving, I appreciate that I didn't have to take it back to my car because I carry it around for security reasons to...
