Writing this review after my third visit.
Short version: Delicious, fully vegan breakfast/lunch spot with creative flavors. The specialty coffee drinks are a must-have
Long version: Every item I've ordered here has been delicious! Across three visits I've ordered The Warpig sandwich, The Slapper sandwich (pictured) This Shit Is Bananas coffee (both as-is and subbed strawberry syrup for pistachio, pictured) and the All Black and Blue coffee. The Warpig is nice and hearty, while The Slapper is refreshing and light while still being filling. Both specialty coffees are immensely flavorful and easily stand on their own! This Shit Is Bananas tastes like fresh baked banana bread, while the All Black And Blue tastes like a homemade blueberry muffin.
The staff are all exceptionally friendly and passionate about the work they do, and from the customer POV it's clear that the team really gets along well, making for a pleasant and welcoming experience. I didn't feel rushed at all, even during their grand opening.
Overall, top notch spot. I plan on returning...
Read moreDo you ever crave something so badly that you could cry? I woke up this morning with a craving unlike any other for a good breakfast sandwich. I remembered seeing this place on Instagram and have been wanting to try it. I ordered the breakfast sandwich that is on an everything bagel and has bacon on it and it took 20 to 25 minutes to come out. It was the driest sandwich I have ever eaten. The bagel was extremely tough, there wasn’t enough sauce, and the faux bacon was like a piece of cardboard that didn’t taste like bacon. The staff were incredibly nice and that’s why I gave it three stars. However, if I am paying around or above $10 for a breakfast sandwich, I expect it to be better. Perhaps some more sauce and a less...
Read moreNot only is the venue attached to the restaurant/ coffee shop extremely unique but the small service window of Blackened out back really wraps up this one of a kind experience. The food is phenomenal and very well prepared. Everything has thought behind it and the main focus of removing cruelty from your breakfast is truly captivating. Each item, cleverly named, has its own place on the menu but everything vibes so well together. My partner and I traveled all the way from Portland, OR to try this new Columbus staple in the vegan world. We will be back as often as possible and look forward to trying each variation of the menu as the seasons change around our visits. Kudos to the staff for being so well knowledged, friendly,...
