I don't eat here, but do enjoy the extensive menu of adult beverages. They have a pretty nice outdoor area with heaters. If you are a smoker or vapor, there is a spot for you here. The world beer tour is a fun thing to do with friends. However, is extremely expensive and requires you to try things that you might not like. That is part of the fun of it! It can take years to finish your name on the wall, possibly your picture and prizes along the way. The wait staff is helpful, but I'm not a fan of the strict rules that they have for their staff. Some of it is over the top. Such as no dark nail polish or black nail polish. They have TVs at the bar and all around that they play news and sports or maybe they'll even change it for you. I've never asked. However, we almost always sit outside because I enjoy the outdoors and the inside can become Extremely Loud and excessively crowded. Since I'm not a fan of big crowds and packed out places we prefer to sit outside. According to my husband the wings are fantastic! I've only ever had the steak fries because it's one of the few places you can get steak fries. They make their ranch dressing in house and that is a perk anywhere you go if you are a ranch dressing fan. They have a small game area for kids with a claw machine and a few other games that I'm not sure what they are. However, it's enough to keep them occupied long enough for parents to finish their meal or enjoy a drink before heading on to their next destination. I've never heard of any issues with violence it's at this restaurant, and it's generally a low key to mid-tempo vibe. If you're from out of town I might recommend this place you if you're looking for a...
Read moreAt first, I was warmly greeted and immediately seated; However, I did use the restroom as soon as I was shown my table. When I sat down, that’s what it went down hill … no service!
I was raised to always take care of those that just entered the house or place of business. With that said, customer service in my viewpoint is an immediate priority. It doesn’t matter what you were doing. When I worked at restaurants and eateries, … the customer that just came in was immediately addressed and given a beverage, especially on trying days where the weather plays a huge part of your day. Within the first minute, on hot sweltering days, the customer got a cold refreshing drink and on cold frigid days, something that would start to warm the customer up. If it was busy, I would at least a start one off with a water and let one know that I will be right back.
At B. Merrill’s, I waited over five minutes, … not even an introduction, a welcome, or a gesture that I was going to be soon tended to. It was busy, but when I see waitresses standing around and talking or just walking by me as I sat there looking for service … that’s it! I’m done! I don’t care if you apologized and offered me a free app … The establishment didn’t deserve my business!!
I walked out and didn’t even turn back! I’ll go someplace where I’m recognized and treated with awesome customer service. BTW, it was a hot day in GA.
Very poor customer service at this establishment! It’s the way I was raised. There is no excuse for thinking new customers can wait while you stand around or wait on existing customers or talk with...
Read moreFirst visit to the new location. We were guided to a tiny two person table with a huge napkin holder and two large condiment bottles taking up a third of the table. I declined that table. They grudgingly directed us to a larger table. We both ordered the grilled chicken, broccoli and a side salad. The salads came out quickly but the lettuce on the salad was dripping wet. I don't think they understand how to use a salad spinner. Dressing won't stick to wet lettuce and there was a puddle of water in the bottom of the bowl. The tomato on the salad consisted of tiny, tiny bits of tomato. So small you couldn't actually stick them with the fork. I tried without much success to trap some tomato between the lettuce. As I got through with the salad, I was able to fish them out of the puddle of water by scooping them up with the fork. Even then some fell through that. Twenty minutes later the grilled chicken and broccoli finally came out. But there was mold on the cut end. When I asked the server for the check, I showed her the moldy broccoli. She took my cash to the bar for change. While she was there a very tall woman who had been wandering around the dining room passed behind me, tossed a check on the table and kept walking, never said a word. They had taken $3.50 off the check. But what struck me was the contemptuous manner that she tossed the check on the table behind my back. No comment, no apology, no explanation. Its pretty clear that there are no restaurant professionals involved in the restaurant. And we will...
