Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Columbus

I was working here and they have very poor employee service. No raises for good performance. Co-workers have very bad attitudes. They bring personal problems to work. Makes it very hard to work with them. Some of them are very lazy they will do irrelevant work when it gets busy. (Most) Managers are very slow pace and can’t multitask. Some of them also have bad hygiene and that is a pet peeve of mine when working around food. I had one mission working for them, and that was to give the very best customer experience as possible. I had a lot of customers tell me I’m very good at my job. Had many job offers but I just said thanks I’m blessed and grateful for the one I have. Worst mistake of my life. Good food at a great value with really fast and friendly service. I ordered at the drive-through.

I got the teriyaki vegetable bowl which was only $5.99 for a big takeout bowl filled to the brim with rice and veggies plus a container of yum yum sauce. I really liked the texture of the rice, and the vegetables were cooked well -- not overdone nor undercooked. Some of the grains of rice were dry though. The teriyaki sauce was sweeter than I expected, but I still greatly enjoyed it. I don't think the yum yum sauce added much to the experience, so I'll just use that for something else later. I assumed this dish was vegetarian, but I didn't explicitly ask.

I am Amanda from hibachi. I truly apologize for any bad expirence I may have caused you. It has not been the greatest month for me, and I will try to improve my attitude. My daughter has been in and out of the hospital suffering from a skin contact allergy, and I have been tending to her throughout the night. I will work harder on having a better attitude in the future. Also my uncle passed away recently, and he was watching my children while i went to work. My children have been extremly upset over his passing and so have i.
